We've had a warmup time of 24 hours from the time that the name first started to drop. This allows us to reserve transfers, time for people to contact us etc.

I won't lie, it is pretty effective too. All the names which people aren't generally interested in can be queued once the time period is up and the good names can be queued at a higher price before the booking becomes available to the "public".

Tbh I don't really blame him for stealing our idea: it is a pretty good one.

How is he stealing your idea? He's trying to open up nice names to other users who can't sit on namemc refreshing all day. He said he wouldn't be making a bidding system.

but this is good for mcsniper, the other system was shitty cuz nerds could just spam refresh of bot it, i've personally never landed a snipe with mcsniper. I'm not against either sniper, but I'm positive that Lyphiard's calculates whether the name change actually happens, and Chearful's just looks and see if there's a name change that happens at all.
Meaning if I queued a snipe on both .co and chearful, and .co got it, chearful would register it just because the name change happened.
am i correct?

We go by whether or not the UUID gets the name.

Not exactly.

It's possible that you actually got the name but never received a response, but Chearful uses this as an excuse to claim a success on a name whether or not he actually sniped it. I, on the other hand, will actually make any corrections to ensure that nothing is falsely advertised.

Yes, I'm happy to hear your ridiculous complaints about my success rate being false advertising. Are you going to ramble on about how "current" means "this nanosecond" again? I'm not trying to hide anything, and I've made it abundantly clear whenever asked that the success rate was a 7-day rolling calculation, updated each hour.
