Hello All,

For 2019, I want to get fit again.. with me having a desk-based job now.. rather than an out and about job... I put on the weight .. so I really want to get fit again.

for anyone who has does this or know someone who has done it.. can you give me some advice on how to get through it... I know not to give up.. which is not going to but idk tbh :(

Run... Like a lot. I run 2.5 miles each day.[DOUBLEPOST=1546440356][/DOUBLEPOST]Also do curl ups.[DOUBLEPOST=1546440442][/DOUBLEPOST]And a thigh based workout is just standing on your tippy toes a bunch of times so up down up down, and some pushups

My morning work out is my Run 10-15 pull ups (dont have to do consecutive if you want can do 2 take a 5 second break then 2 ) 30-45 pushups, 20 sit ups, tippy toes, 5 burpies and then I am off.

Thank you.. I'll add it to my daily workout, I've stopped myself from snacking now.. and eating shit.. nows it's full meals and having breakfast now.. rather then northing

On something based on getting fit why do my tips suck and workout suck?
Because it's not that effective and there are better ways and it is bad to advise someone to "just run a lot" and 2.5 miles is not a lot either. But you're still doing better than 95% of the world. I'm not trying to hate but if someone is just starting out then your advice does not help at all.

I suggest trying to go to the gym, maybe doing stuff you can do at your house like push ups and stuff as mentioned above. Go running quite often. Eventually you'll lose weight.

Putting on muscle I'd assume, not weight, is indeed harder than losing weight.

Diet is what you need to focus on. Eat healthily, eat a lot. (Assuming your gym workout is fine.)

I'm quite skinny and people have suggested putting on weight before trying to get muscle but I have a high metabolism so no matter how much I eat and stuff I put on nothing... Gained 7kg in almost 4 years.

Some people aint like that though so the only thing you can really do to lose weight is stick to a diet and doing regular exercise that is good for your age etc.
