We all make mistakes in our life and we have to build onto it, and so I think users should be able to appeal bans.

If it's a ban for breaking rules users can appeal and show why the ban should be lifted. They can give reasons on why they deserve a second chance and what they will improve on.

Now if the ban has something to do with scamming, I think a second chance should be given only if the scammed users gives an apology to the scammer. Also the scammer must return the goods scammed and also give reasons on why they should be unbanned.

I think people deserve second chances, and we aren't perfect -- we are all human and we make mistakes. Mistakes are what make us improve.

Alot of "mistakes" here is people running off with other peoples money. The second chance stuff is what makes competitive markets filled with scammers.

Perhaps unban them but give them a tag specifying they've been banned before like "Known Scammer"

And with a certain # of lengh of time and reputation, they can appeal the tag.

I love it when people can't read! 10/10

Now if the ban has something to do with scamming, I think a second chance should be given only if the scammed users gives an apology to the scammer. Also the scammer must return the goods scammed and also give reasons on why they should be unbanned.

What the user scammed MUST be returned and the scammer also gets a DEAL WITH CAUTION banner.

I like the good thought.

But most people are banned due to scamming and exit scamming.
Then alting to scam more.
Unbanning scammers will just result in more people being scammed.

There are not many other reasons people are banned and I doubt they will change as well.

only if the scammed users gives an apology to the scammer.
You got this backwards btw.

Anyways, I do not believe an apology is good enough to come back on the forum and potentially scam again and for more money this time.

But users who are banned for scamming, can appeal by returning everything they scammed as well as get a banner or rank that says "Deal With Caution".

But this part might be a decent idea.

And the scammer returns what they scammed.[DOUBLEPOST=1485798637][/DOUBLEPOST]Also what many fail to understand is people change. Mistakes are what make us human, and even a scammer can get a warm heart.
