Lol, a 200gbps botnet will cost about $400 an hour, I'm 99% sure you didn't get ddosed with that amount.

Hello Layton,

I am personally setting up a network, it would be really uncommon for you to receive anything up 100Gbps attack, never mind 600Gbps. I don't think there is a CPU out there what could handle 750+ players, you could probably use dual E5's but E5's are crap as they only offer low GHz's and for game servers you need as much as possible. Just get a couple of E3 dedicated servers ran in a private network and split the load, that's the only way you'll probably be able to handle that amount of concurrent users. OVH would be a good chose, but if you want to private network dedicated servers together, use Vultr as they offer private networking straight out of the box. If you have a budget of $50 a month, you won't be able to handle the amount of players you want, nor would you be able to afford a DDOS attack of 600Gbps. I'd personally get a dedicated server from Vultr as you can scale with them, they also have an API.
