I’ve had a talk with Careful.
Careful has admitted to have attempted scamming a user’s account two years ago. After having done that first mistake, he states having tried again, but has paid the user double the price two weeks after having scammed him as compentation.
He was very clear to me that none should ask for him to be unbanned, but there is a huge flaw in this issue.
1)
The scam was 2 years ago, people change, their personality change. For when he paid back the specific user double the amount, that proves that his guilt cannot hold and that scamming would basically rip him from the inside.
2)
No MC-Market policy states that scamming attempts before registering the website and with no scam reports opened on the user should result in a ban of that person in question. He attempted scamming twice, and payback double on the second time. No one got hurt, got scammed or whatsoever. It all ended up in a good resolution.
3)
He didn’t even ask to be banned. He was guilty and admitted it, and then hoped to move on. Justis instead stabbed in the wound of that regretful episode and banned him for a mistake. He regrets it, someone who didn’t regret it would have forgotten and never admitted anything. Oscar is a good man, he doesn’t deserve this punishment
Edit: He did say that if necessary, he would take the ban. He understood that Justis needed to do his job but life has exceptions, and we need this to be an exception.
