People can assign themselves as certain things. For example someone can make themself a Developer. Then whenever someone says @Developers it tags them.

Perhaps a nicer way to do this would be rather than "@" as the symbol it could be "#" and then you could follow specific hashtags and browse through specific hashtags. Anyways, seems pretty awesome!

Hopefully there'd be a set of rules that pertain to not allowing the tagging of everyone on MCM :)

Having it as a hashtag would be a better idea, so if someone has the username "developer" or "artist" it won't get mixed up

Hm. Maybe with the # system, you could just search #Developers and all those threads would pop up. That way there won't be 1000052982589827 alerts going off at once.
