The approval process for releasing resources is not very good..
I have searched for one of my own resources and after about half a minute of searching I have already found people stealing my content like this guy: https://builtbybit.com/creators/notprocapsyt.579408/
The StrengthSMP S4 skript they have for sale is the exact same skript as mine and they also managed to release a plugin and another skript both entirely stolen from 2 other creators I know.
His Kings SMP skript is made entirely with ai and isn’t even functioning properly and there are many other creators on Builtbybit actively making money from content that they didn’t even create.

I think it’s pretty messed up that creators are able to simple upload a non functioning product or something that they entirely stole from other creators and make money of it.

How do you suppose the BBB team can fix the issue relating to publishing stolen work? It's a bit hard to figure out if or if not something was stolen from someone else from the naked eye. You made some good points, but do you have any insight on how to go about fixing it?

Checking for stolen resources could maybe be done by a system that checks the database but I’m not too sure. I think modrinth got a way to block resources from being published that are already on modrinth to prevent stealing

If modrinth really has that system, okay, good that works for plugins and mods. What about all the other different categories for products on BBB?

By the way if someone stole your work, I highly recommend filing a DMCA against them for each one if you haven't already.

Modrinth goes by file hashes I believe, but any single change to a file changes that hash. Someone downloading a file, adding their name to it, and re-saving will change that hash. There is no actual "database" to go off of when it comes to stolen resources.

If someone stole your resource, it's best to make a ticket for staff to handle it rather than being here on the forums.

I mean most resources are AI crap currently so. BBB stands they are actively working on it, to punish people from doing so however all I see is more and more of resources made by AI, designs made by AI and such. BBB is becoming very bad platform in my eyes which sucks.

I don't think that has BBB has become a very bad platform but the AI resources problem is big, I see many people just using my skript and telling AI to recreate plugins or so using my methods. There's even a rule for it: "5.8 Do not post low-quality or undescriptive resource descriptions." but I think they don't even test the resource in game to see if it works during resource approval.

I believe there should be some "Developer" role or like some sort of rank that will allow you to sell resources. Just as MCMarket had in past that you could release paid software ONLY. with premium rank.

Lets say with a Developer rank you have to pass some sort of test that you can code what you want to post lets say minecraft plugins.
Its just to me a lot of resources or threads are just bringing bad vibe to the platform...
