Well that's good. Everyone learns out of their mistakesI'm sure everyone on this site who does business often have been scammed. I got scammed because i was dumb ASF and did business with a guy from youtube. The guy was selling a 2016 cape account and i blindly sent him the money because i wasn't thinking because i really wanted the cape. I sent him the money and he blocked me on skype. It was only 70 dollars so i wasn't too mad. It's whatever. I code so i was like ok. I can make that back easily. It's whatever lol. It wont happen again though because im extra cautious now when doing business.
That's true, I saw another user got scammed with someone selling a 15K yt also Felt so bad for himYeh. I definitely learned 2 things. 70 dollars for a minecon cape account. Too good to be true and don't do business with people from youtube lol.
Benton someone to join your squad...I've been scammed $70 trying to buy an account off a Youtuber and was charged back on $130. At least I've managed to win both cases![]()
$20 = 1 Chargeback feeOn MCM directly? No.
Anvilnode sales? Yes plenty. I think we spend roughly $200/month in chargeback fees.
Don't I know this. I'm a law student and it costs me $10000 semester, excluding books and other neccesaries.Scammed by college. $24K
There's not much you can do about VISA credit card chargebacks done through banks directly. This is because the customer's bank decides wether they will get their money back or not. Why would a bank not side with their own customer?$20 = 1 Chargeback fee
so you lose 20 cases a month? Is there something wrong with your TOS? cause thats alot. and $200 is a lot of bloody money.
Yep I've gotten scammed a couple times now , but the scammers were completely idiots.
When I first joined this random guy who I didin't know was exit scamming asked for a loan of $20 so I gave it to him but in G&S. Turns out he exit scammed but I made a chargeback and won it so I got the last laugh. Second time was for bitcoin around $15 they did a chargeback even when I sent the bitcoin and they got banned. Third time I was buying btc the guy was sketchy the whole time not knowing rates , amount of btc etc. He said I could send in g&s so of course I did , and of course he scams me but I initiated a chargeback which he think he won but I was the one who won so fuck yeaLast time was when this guy was on mcm begging for donations for his dog surgery and I sold some btc and donated $70 ( was going to donate $110 but he probably felt bad knowing he was scamming) and I lost the $70 :/
oh my gosh, And here i am feeling bad about $2.
I heard the story about the guy begging for money about the dog, I'm so sorry you fell for that scam, as an animal lover myself I would most probably fell for it aswell. atleast you won a couple of times. and know betterthanks for sharing!
I sell a lot of resources (Not all on this site), and after people try to scam a lot and chargeback them, and you keep winning, paypal will support you as its the same type of fight. As long as you prove you are a legit seller, they will side on you for most fights.I get a bunch of chargebacks from my resources, and like Ajdin said, after a while, it just becomes pointless to fight.
Although, I get nowhere near the number of chargebacks AnvilNode does.
Yes but over like $1, its too much hassle.I sell a lot of resources (Not all on this site), and after people try to scam a lot and chargeback them, and you keep winning, paypal will support you as its the same type of fight. As long as you prove you are a legit seller, they will side on you for most fights.
