Have you ever been scammed?

I feel like everyone has at least one story were somebody screwed them out of a lot of money. I've certainly had my fair share of scams, and I'd be curious to hear yours.

Yes, I have been scammed. I paid 5$ for a discord ad on a very popular server, This man took ages to respond I paid him my 5$ and said make sure to put it on family and friends then I'll post your ad with an Everyone then next thing you know I paid him and I did it to the other one instead of a family of friends on PayPal and I told him that. then he got super pissed then I changed it back to family and friends then sent him the 5$ then he's like I'll do it once I get home and I said home didn't you say you were home then he goes silent for 1 week I message him back and he never messaged me back ever again.

I've been scammed more times then I can even count.. and I can count all the way to 10, so quite a lot of scamming

I get scammed left and right to be honest but that doesn't stop me from buying things since you have to take a risk every now and then otherwise you'll never get anywhere in life

Biggest scam btw is loaning.

Yup wanted to buy a Used XenForo lisence payed the dude but never received lucky I filed a chargeback and got the money. Also I went to the police to get the dude more in trouble.

Yeah it happens, probably the weirdest time I got scammed was I woke up one night at like 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep and checked Discord and saw someone wanted to deal with me and so I checked the dudes Discord and checked his MCM didn't even think to confirm and a pinned message in big letters stating there was an impersonator and it showed the dude I was dealing withs Discord but my tired ass couldn't put it together so I went through anyways and got 20 bucks stolen and didn't even notice until I woke up in the morning.

I got caught by the fake gambling site scam back in csgo gambling days, lost $150. Learned my lesson

I’ve probably been scammed for more money than the average person. First big one was for a development of a plug-in, scammed me for $3000. (We had signed a contract, etc, but he just ghosted me after and at the time I wasn’t legally adept.) Second was for an NFT I had unboxed, and it was a pretty high ranking one, #100/5000 or something of the sort, they sent me a reputated site that I knew but changed the link and made everything look the same as the real site, and so I lost my NFT worth about $4000. Other times include getting scammed for MC Accounts (About $2000 there) Lastly, this was in the cs gambling days where I traded nearly $10,000 worth of skins to a scam bot right as I was entering a jackpot, so I thought it was the actual site requesting items from me. Unfortunate life I have, but I’m glad I’m in a position where those losses don’t amount to too much.

I got mine from the legit Optifine website back in 2015, it was the first purchase I made online using my own money.
