Unless you can verify the reputation of the seller, always used G&S on PayPal. Only use F&F if you are 100% confident about the sellers legitimacy.

Unfortunately i got scammed out of $500 for a OG Minecon. There was a guy named "Cukar" or "Secer" and he ran a reputable MC shop along with nitro/semis/OGs/MFA and had over 100+ vouches. He insisted on crypto but i convinced him to do Paypal... now heres where things start getting shady. I sent the $ and he stopped responding instantly, then he responds an hour later saying he will check when he gets "home" and then sends a picture of a bar. A few hours go by of me constantly messaging him and he proceeds with a story about how "hes so drunk" and will do it the next day. At this point im livid, the next day arrives followed by more constant messaging and he proceeds to say he only recieved $50 out of the $500. Then sends me clearly google inspected screenshots, i messaged paypal to confirm he received the correct amount and he did and they both refused to issue me a refund. So im messaging and messaging with no response, i hop on my alt discord and pretend to want to buy an account and he tries selling me the same account i paid for like??
Eventually he messages me on my main and says "He will refund paypal if i send another $500 on crypto" at this point he must think im dumb or something. He stopped responding after that and unfortunately theres no way i can get his Discord server shut down for scamming.

Only twice for real money. I once bought an SD card on ebay and about 3 months later I found out it was a fake. Second time again on ebay i bought a really cheap new xbox 360 elite console. It never arrived but at least I got a refund from ebay/paypal for the xbox but not for the sd card. Idk if this is considered a scam but when I first started a minecraft server, i thought I had found a good person that makes free plugins. I kinda became friends with him (fake friend) he made me a plugin only it wasn't what I asked for. What it did do however is when I started the server with the so called custom plugin on my server, the plugin had made the guy OP and de-oped me. He then completely obliterated the server. The whole spawn was full of lava, bedrock, etc the spawn was destroyed and everyone was banned. I don't think its considered a scam but was deceived.
Scammed £300 from a user using a bank transfer, my stupidity doing that as it cannot be recovered, and $25 from a recent client just yesterday, absolute scumbags.
Got scammed for $250. I used to work on Fiverr making setups for people. Someone ordered a very large network that I worked on for hours a day. When it came to being done, I sent them the server, and they filed some report on me. Fiverr instead of reaching out to me asking what happened, let him keep the work and gave him back the money.

This wasn't with anyone onsite or anything, but I was scammed £12,000 (in assets/goods) in a trade for a Rolex Submariner, the watch ended up being a really good superclone/replica of the real thing, including even the movement and bezels etc. The box and paperwork were real too, but when it came to getting the watch serviced, it just turned out to be a really good fake.
