ok hi mick here are montyburly and i's questions:
-clarity and openness in the actions and dealings of moderators and administrators is a big problem on this site lately and a lot of people have been banned or have left over this. under your operation, will any changes be made to address this problem and will old features, such as the banlist, be brought back? in addition to this will any additional features be added to the website to make it clear that moderators and administrators are not abusing their powers and that every action they take is made for just cause?
-i believe shoutbox bans should be lifted off of everyone and that the rules of the shoutbox should be clearly explained and that the shoutbox should be properly moderated. many people, including myself and montyburly, especially in montyburly's case, were very unfairly banned for the shoutbox on a whim.
-will anything be done about the sexualization of females on this message board? it seems extremely inappropriate to have naked females on almost every other signature and avatar. this is ultimately a message board for a CHILDREN'S video game, and i think it is frankly offensive and degrading to us females to have this sort of smut all over the place. i believe you agree with this mick and would appreciate if some sort of enforcement is introduced against this sort of vile and disgusting material being forced on our eyes. it's practically rape.
-i believe ratings bans should be reset and people should be warned about doing it excessively. our ratings were taken away without any verbal warning from verringer and before any rule was actually there about it. we never violated ANY rule on this website and to just punish people like that (when it was done for the purposes of making people who were harassing us to stop) is insane to me. justice should be done on this matter.
-the whole shitposting issue is a recent hot topic of discussion on the boards. it seems like everyone engages in it, and monty and i report posts for it all the time and they just aren't deleted. i see a thread up right now that's clearly a shitpost thread, and yet it's allowed to stay just because verringer has some sort of connection to it. this is blatant favoritism? how do you decide what is and isn't a shitpost? what constitutes as one, and what sort of oversight is there in the decisions that take place in removing these threads we report? monty's threads she posts almost always get deleted despite them never being bad or any more off-topic than other threads on GENERAL DISCUSSION are, and yet we report off topic threads all the time and get messages like "this is general discussion so it's ok". it isn't ok. it's unfair and biased and i think this whole thing is ridiculous.
-the autoban system. can we get some clarification on this and how it works? jack recently gave me 6 warnings for no reason at all. do those count towards my autoban? i've reported dozens of shittyadvice's useless threads and he's still here. how does this work?
-harassment. since we've come to these forums we have consistently been harassed by, at this point, probably over 20+ people. not a single bit of punishment has ever been done to ANY of these people as far as i am aware, and rather we are the ones who are consistently punished for it instead. i have how many messages on my profile of people calling me a faggot or talking about my sexuality. how is this acceptable? i even reported some of these messages and NOT A THING was done about it. monty and i both gets adds on skype from people harassing us from this website, and if you go look on monty's profile you'll see plenty of harassment messages too. the extreme level of harassment, especially sexual harassment, that we get on this site frankly is the biggest reason monty and i post a lot less than we used to and don't really engage with the community as much anymore. that and our threads always getting unfairly deleted.

As a response to the first question, the ban-list will not be brought back, at least until we have a better system for dealing with bans. By this I do not mean that I ban people unfairly, but simply that the descriptions are not long enough, causing the community to feel like we're just banning people for fun (we're not.)
I may unban people from the shoutbox, especially if they can give me a good reason. If anyone is reading this that is banned from shoutbox unfairly, please send me a PM and I'll try to get it sorted out.
I do agree with this (not the rape part), however I do not feel that I would be able to completely remove pornographic content from this forum as people would easily be able to create loopholes by saying things such as "She's wearing a t-shirt, so it's not pornographic", even though it clearly does degrade women. So this essentially means that I will not be able to regulate pornographic profile, cover, and signature pictures, sorry.
Ratings will not be reset for rate-banned people (which I believe is only you and monty). This is as I feel that this is a fair "punishment" for rate-boosting or anything like that. If you ask me again in a month or two, I may have changed my mind.
With shitposting, if you report any post and it does not get sorted out the way that you like it, it does not mean that we are biased or somehow have a connection with shitposters. Please do continue reporting shitposters and they will (mostly) be dealt with and be given a warning.
The autoban system essentially works like this: If you have 15 warnings, you will be tempbanned. If you have 30 warnings, you will be tempbanned. If you have 45 warnings, you will be temp-banned. If you have 50 warnings, you will be banned. This system may be slightly lenient on people who do the wrong thing, but warning points are given for only slight offences, such as having a thread in the wrong place etc. Another thing to note is that some warnings are worth more points than others, such as trolling is worth more points than shitposting.
I do know that you are being harassed, and I really hate that you and monty are constantly being looked down onto, especially in cases where people tag you in a thread and harass you for something that you aren't even involved in. We have been issuing warning points to those people who are being dicky towards you, and will still do it in the future. If anyone sees a post that harasses anyone, report it and a punishment will be given.
