Bump. I got a reply from Mojang saying the account was taken back by the original owner. I recorded video evidence of me going in to gmail, opening the email, even opening the plaintext copy with all the technical information. The seller says its fake and STILL refuses to give me a replacement.

Jurhed I don't make much money (unlike you, selling all the goodies and stuff you have). $4 USD goes a long way, especially when converted into my currency.

I am not scamming here. A scammer would not go this far. A scammer would contact the seller, try to get the scam done, but if it doesn't work, he will move on instead of trying to create evidence with the risk of exposing himself.

The account legitimately doesn't work. Mojang probably won't even let me TID it back anymore, and if they do, they will be suspicious. A refund of $4 or a replacement would not go in vein.

You'd be surprised how far a scammer would go for such a tiny amount.

I would be surprised for sure. It's below minimum wage.

How do i know that the account TID you sent to mojang wasn't another TID or this might even be another mc account then the one i sold you. Im suprised how much scammers can do to get what they want, its sad how he can accuse me and you're not getting any consequenses.

I never provided Mojang with any TID (as shown in the second email), but I did provide them with a UUID which you can easily use NameMC to trace down and cross-reference with Skype logs.

In fact, every bit of evidence I gave you can be cross referenced and confirmed.

Let me just bump this, but not just a plain old bump :eek:

I have recently found out that ThePineApple was also scammed in the same way by Gucci Mane. He bought the account, and a few days later it was TIDed back. :eek::eek:

Anthony R I have contacted Mojang, and I have recorded opening up my gmail and opening their email in plaintext, with all the technical information in tact. They clearly said it was taken back by the original owner. :eek: I can link the video whenever you want.

Gucci Mane is selling DEFECTIVE items. They are taken back just days after purchase. And whether he takes them back, his supplier, or the original owner is unclear, but one thing is for sure: they are TIDed back by someone.

Oh, and, you're probably thinking: I told you buying used items gives you different rights blah blah. If I bought a toaster from Value Village or Goodwill or whatever, and I came home to find it doesn't work, they WILL replace it or refund me. If they don't, they risk a claim from the BBB.

DNDW Gucci Mane, peoples. Representing ThePineApple and myself, we want our money back. He paid $30 and it was scammed out of him. My $5 is nothing compared to that, but together $35 worth of goods was scammed out of us. If we TID back the accounts, we start a TID war with the other party (whoever that may be).

It's not fair.

Make a scam report

I don't think we have a good chance of winning. Anthony R said this on the previous page of this thread:

When you purchase second hand goods, under the law, you accept your rights are a little different than buying brand new goods.

This is just to highlights buying second hand goods and brand new goods is different. When you buy an account, you accept there is a risk to it. You accepted the risk of the account getting taken back, and while we cannot prove, and you are not even suggesting the person you bought it for took it back.

Unfortunately, unless the person you bought it from took it back, there is nothing MC-Market can do.
