In a case like that, the reputation of the member doing the vouching is very important. A vouch from a new member, one with little reputation or a postfarmer (someone who tries to rake up their post count by commenting random stuff like GLWS! everywhere) tends to not be very valuable.

.If you say something actually constructive, like "this looks pretty neat, GLWS!" or something tailored to the actual post, it's not a problem.
If all you do is throw in the same 4 letters (GLWS!) everywhere, you're postfarming.
I do. Because I've done it myself, trying to get above 100 posts, when people would start taking it seriously. about 200 or so of my current post count are post farming.
Let's put it like this. If they said any one 4 letter word that was not aimed to be nice, people would not doubt it being post farming
