Overview:

Looking for a Devs with SB and/or Facs experience for either part/full-time work on an upcoming server. Pay will be anywhere from $50-250 monthly, can increase by up to 4x depending on performance.

Ex-Owner of ExmoPvP, OkiMC, StrivePvP, Hyrise. Good reputation in factions.

Application Process:

1. Add me on Discord and send me your portfolio
2. If acceptable, you will be added to a group chat with 1-2 managers to discuss further topics such as previous experience, skill level, available time, and price.
3. If accepted, you will be taken on for a trial period of 1 week. If you fail the trial period, you will receive whatever the week of work was worth. If you succeed, you'll be on the team, and the payroll.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

zFrost87, $400 a month full time 6 months ago. One of the top 5 Factions devs. Not sure where you're sourcing your figures.

Sourcing them from logic. Full time is about 47 hours a week (let's call it 30 just to be fair)

30 hours per week * 4.3 = 129 hours per month
$250 / 129 = $1.9 per hour

Would you be willing to work for $1.9 per hour? I sure as shit wouldn't.

This is Minecraft plugin development, not full-time java development. I can guarantee that very few devs will utilise the whole 30 hours a week productively, as seen in our last round of recruiting where 2 of the prospects failed to complete a basic plugin within a whole week, yet were both seeking $150+/m each. The Devs seen on freelance sites such as Fiverr look for $15+/h because they've A) been doing it for years and are therefore VERY experienced, and b) know how to effectively allocate/use time. And they're also not coding in Minecraft, which is far more simplistic than working on other sorts of projects, such as a game-engine.

Please, if you wish to continue this conversation, take it to PMs and don't trash the thread. Only looking for responses from those who are actually interested in applying and not those looking for an argument about the ethics of pay in the Minecraft economy.
