We're a developer focused studio that makes content for Minecraft. We are currently focusing on producing Bedrock content that pushes the limits of the platform - you may view our published projects. Our team also covers all aspects from level designers, modelers, sound artists, and you - the developer. The team works to handle the planning and asset design before the project starts.
The team is remote only. Our developer meetings are every Tuesday over voice where we discuss progress on tasks that were assigned the previous week. Tasks would be to implement models, a mechanic, or add game functionality. You may work on your own schedule.
Payment for this role begins at $15 per hour. Developers are expected to dedicate around 30 hours a week to complete a project in 4 weeks. A complete project usually constitute to 120 hours of work. Once you are comfortable and able to work alone on projects, this role ranges to $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Develop game framework and mechanics
- Implement model and map assets from artists
- Work closely with lead level designers
- Problem solve and create solutions
- Good time management and communication skills
- Previous experience with Bedrock behaviors and entities
- Such as: animation controllers, entity logic, and MoLang
- Confident with Bedrock's JSON schemas and mechanics
- Experience with Git
- Experience with any editors, such as:
- Visual Studio Code
- IntelliJ IDEA
- Bridge
- Experience with JavaScript, Java, or Python
- Experience with FTP (via FileZilla, WinSCP, etc)
- Experience with Word Processors (Word, Docs, Notion, etc.)
