How has Minecraft affected your life?

excluding entertainment it helped me a lot to improve my english (not my native language), i don' t play that much nowadays but i won' t stop playing that soon

It's basically what got me interested in game design, and decided the path my life will take. I don't think I'd even have considered game design without Minecraft. For me, it's been a pretty big impact on my life, similar to how WoW affects some others. The reputation and connections built can be used throughout the rest of your life, if you so choose.
