When you start mining do you leave all of them selected ?

Leave them all checked. The Nicehash client will automatically start and stop miners for the algorithms selected, prioritizing the ones that will pay you the most at any given time.

Perfect. I have an MSI 980 Ti so I use Afterburner as well.
People should use whatever proprietary software they have for their graphics card to tweak things like thermal throttling and fan rampup speeds to whatever they feel comfortable running their machine at.

I never read much of this post but, I used to mine btc and using the pc is not the way to go, I had 6 miners a spondoolies sp-20 , and 5x bitmain antminers s3's all using about 3000 watts 24-7 making about roughly a little more than a btc/month and power was roughly 300. This was when BTC was about $600 and I am in Canada so it make a little bit off it this was years ago. ASIC miners is the way to go not a pc. Further more I have an obsolete antmine usb miner that can mine faster than a pc but outdated yea. Just but a ASIC miner if you're interested in mining BTC.

it's going to crush your cpu/gpu because it will max it out 24-7 if you run it from a pc 24-7[DOUBLEPOST=1497222777][/DOUBLEPOST]Getting into btc back when I mined was not considered ez money. The cost of an asic miner plus cost of power and every 1-2 years you need to look at selling the asic miners because they become outdated faster than a pc due to new miners coming out yearly that hash faster and use less electricity so it's an ongoing cycle[DOUBLEPOST=1497223070][/DOUBLEPOST]

that's my set-up as time progressed despite jacks disagreement.

Y'all can laugh, but I saved my btc and sold 10 of them when they hit $700. Just to bad I didn't hold onto them and sell then when they hit $2900. I stoped mining btc when btc reached under 300.

I'm just asking if the program necessary actually works for a mac. I'm not interested in the constant stress on my computer because I'd like for it to last a long time.
