Hi, I would like to know how much RAM a minecraft server with an average of 100 constant players should have, since in the future I will make a kitmap server and I do not want to screw it up and put little ram and then it will go wrong.

12GB RAM is really the absolute maximum you're going to need regardless of playercount, past 12GB the only thing you're dependent on is your CPU clock speeed.

If you have 100 concurrent players then 12GB or 10GB RAM + some high clock speed CPU would be best for you.

I'll recommend the premium VPS lineup at NodeClusters which would be good for this, 10GB is still good for this: https://nodeclusters.com/vps

so with 16GB RAM & 4 vCore @3.70GHz I think it should go very well. I was researching prices and that's the best I found for $20.

Hello Jux, hope you are doing well and staying safe! Just remember that you may think you need 16GB of RAM but you should leave it up to your server to decide how much you actually need. With our services, you can do just that. You pay only for the resources you use and nothing more. Feel free to check us out. We have designed our game services to allow gamers like you to scale their services as they grow. Should you have any questions, please contact us!

We sure do! We don't refer to them by VPS but by Virtual Services. The reason is because we offer different types of technologies to serve your applications so if we called it a VPS, it technically wouldn't be correct because not all our virtual services are VPS technology. You can check it out at: https://daemex.io/virtual-services

Usually 8GB to 12GB RAM would be enough for this. The CPU and disk would be the most important factors though. A CPU with a high single thread benchmark (such as i7-6700K) and SSDs are optimal.

Also, as you are looking at a VPS, you should choose KVM over OpenVZ for the best performance.

I was just thinking of hiring their service, I think I will choose the 10GB KVM DDR4 and i7-6700K 4 vCores @ 4.00GHz
