How to Fork plugins. (HCF)

Hey MCM Community.
I always wondered what do you mean by "Fork" cause i always find it out on some plugins
and most of them are "Forked hcf cores"
How do you fork a hcf core? How and why does it affect?
If you know how to fork a hcf core, please if possible put some simple steps down below

Good. It's alright to feel cringey, and depressed about something. Especially when you should feel cringey. Maybe one day you'll grow up and be like one of the big kids and fork an HCF core. That's when you know you've made it.

If you don't know how to code, then why the hell are you trying to make a fork. If you don't know how to code then you for sure not know how the core works and you can't add shit because you don't know how to code. Learn Java and spend 6+ months of daily dedication so you can get to know Java a little bit. Then start learning the Spigot API so you know how to combine Java and Minecraft and make a few simple plugins. After that, your ready to fork and make decent plugins.
