Hello, my dad is encouraging me to use my money (rip savings) and invest it online (quite a shocker honestly) and I'm thinking of opening a minecraft server, here's a couple of questions I hope you can help me with :)

How far can I go with this amount?
How should I use it? (ex $50 hosting, etc)
Should I even use all of it?

Right now I'm thinking of opening a factions or prison server and hire a mid sized Youtuber (or two if the money allows) to get players (20ish playerbase if that's possible) and hopefully that will make the $ roll in. If this wouldn't be enough money how much do you suggest I save up before making a server? If this isn't a good investment what do you think would be?

$400 is a lot for me and I'm just looking for ways to possibly make it grow so I'll have more savings and I can use it on a big purchase if I need/want to make one :)

Thanks for reading <3

Most people start with very low bugdet, yours is great size
You should mostly invest it in:
Hosting (20$ish) Suggestion: shockbyte.com
Website
Some developer(s)
Custom builds
If you can set it up on your own do so if no then pay someone to do it
and once everything is ready and you got everything finished pay few youtubers to play
How much do you think I should spend?
