I know the feeling, just not for that length of time exactly. Qualifications don't matter much expect POSSIBLY for your first job ( I am from the UK, your qualifications will end up meaning nothing especially in this sector ). Have you tried applying for other jobs like even at shops, restaurants, fast-food chains, delivery driver, data entry etc.. so you can get some more experience? And yes contacts are a must, if you have contacts you will get far if you don't it will be a struggle.

Edit : Also your CV is crucial, an easy straight forward layout which is easy to read and gets straight to the point will help a lot. If you get an interview, be yourself don't try to be "over" professional. Also as I am sure someone has stated above, can you provide what skills you posses? No matter what they are, so we can help better.

For the Twitch part, I feel you. I left my job due to corona and started to do youtube again, July I got monetized, made $111 and I was excited to get paid in August. Now it's september, no money still... I had quit my online job thinking I'd get the money and I'd be set doing it full time, NOPE.... YouTube claims I broke TOS, I emailed them for days and was told I couldn't know the tos i broke and ontop of that I will not get my $111 + $110 current revenue as of today.... so that is $220 right there, on top of this all, to make a new adsense it will take 1-4 weeks to verify my address and another 1-4 weeks to be approved again... so thats 2-8 weeks of no revenue from youtube. I just got approved to join a youtube network but until this all is sorted i might not even be able to use them, I am trying to figure this crap out but my gosh I keep almost giving up. It really hurts, finally doing what I love and youtube crushed me. I'd contact twitch and explain that family and friends donated, there's gotta be a way to get that money considering you did nothing wrong, so that is YOUR money. Good luck

I've been open to pretty much every job possible with the exception of front line food service. I get allergies seriously and don't want to contaminate any food. My exception is pretty good as there are hardly any food services around here but a couple of exceptions.

I have 5000 rejected emails sent back to my email and that's not even all of it. Those are just the ones kind enough to give me a rejected notice.

I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one suffering from this, though I hope we'll get our money much sooner/faster. It honestly feels such a scam and such a massive company is yoinking our money away. I've told them (Twitch) it was impossible as it came from friends and family, so they've lost money and so have I at the output.

I am working on getting a bunch of creators who have had the same happen make some kind of video collab where we just bring awareness and hopefully help each other out, my large client that I edit for, with 200k subs had a similar issue, it's sad that they sit back and don't care that some of us do this fulltime, these problems risk our housing, bills, food etc its very messed up.

I've had one for years, though thanks for the suggestion. I've made many contacts on there without any luck.

Yeah. Hopefully if I get out of this with my money (other case scenario, friends/family are preparing to chargeback for their bits/subscriptions) then I might continue streaming. Most likely somewhere else from Twitch where I've been constantly played about.

It's a joke so far and admittedly I hope Mixer existed. Microsoft was actually decent with this stuff.

Drop me your link, I will follow you and give you a shoutout sometime. Hope you get it back, if you continue to do twitch, have a paypal donation link instead, wont be able to have alerts, but then you wont deal with twitch's bs

My Twitch link: https://twitch.tv/givebirb

Already use a PayPal. I had affiliate as an option for my viewers to have the chance to use their bit/cheer balance + sub badges/emotes.

Thanks if you do, you don't have to.

Try out shit, you don't need to get a job to make money, just try freelancing, ecommerce, trading, everything that you can, eventually you will find something you like that makes you money on your own. Before I started making a decent amount of money I remember trying out trading, dropshipping, graphic design, video editing, trailers, and a bunch of stuff. Eventually I figured out that selling/getting accounts was perfect for me.

Nice new update from Twitch. When I asked them about my money they closed the case as it was a "duplicate", despite it being about how my cheers were from friends & family.

We're in preparations for legal and chargebacks through banks.

Posted on Twitter to maybe help grab some support; their support team is completely in-existent in cases such as this. POST
