If you want a really good way to be secure with deals you find a bit sketchy or something on PayPal, use a VPN.

If the deal goes through, ignore the mails you get from PayPal regarding suspicious activity, since it's just yourself.

If the deal doesn't go through and you get scammed, call PayPal and say your PayPal was hacked. They'll check the activity on the account, and then refund every single purchase made with the suspicious IP to your balance.

A lot of people solve F&F scam disputes like this, if they don't really know how to get their money refunded from the actual PayPal report, since PayPal always seems to favor the scammer

It's too late for that because it was already sent, however thank you for the advice. I'll probably end up not using that though, I don't think I'll be comfortable with fabricating lies, and I'm sure my dad would be against it too.

A mix of both, My dad called his bank but they couldn't do anything about it.
