my name is Bailey, and I would like to be able to build a lot better and eventually earn $ for it. I'm pretty decent at the moment but I would like to work with someone/a team to help me get better as I love working with other people.

I'm not much of a builder but more of a website designer/website developer; however, when creating something you should have an idea of what you want to build or make in your head or on paper called a mockup. Look at it, makes notes about what you're thinking for it, get a color scheme down, and be determined and happy with your mockup. Don't start building with second thoughts because you may not try your hardest, or care to continue.

I hope this helps you. I can't teach you how to build. No one can. The best we can do is guide you to being better.

When building you have to try different blocks and experiment with new blocks. When you're not happy with the creation, you have to change and improve the build till you're happy. Rework the build and search inspiration to get better.

Possibly finding an area within building that you will specialise in such as landscaping, and focus your research on finding inspiration from both IRL and Minecraft landscapes and focus on how to manipulate the block pallet to bring out its effectiveness in terrain. Always, practice in making a landscape even if you're not going to use the build. As it will develop your experience.

Good luck though in finding someone.

I started building by getting pictures off of the internet, and trying to put them into minecraft, along with experimenting with block choices to see what looks right. I then went to minecraft builds on the internet, and tried to recreate them. You should try this method a lot, it helps.
