[Idea] Devforums

so uh, hi!

I bought the domain 'devforums.co' (not great I know, but it was what was available). Anyways, I think this could be a good place where devs can have casual chats or help each other with problems and what not. Do you guys think this is a good idea? I'm down to create the site if I get enough positive feedback. Money or skills are not a problem, I got 'em.

I like the idea, but I believe there are already a few out there that are already popular. To make yours more uniqueI would say a forums that is dedicated to minecraft (plugins, mods, etc) development but there aren't that many minecraft developers out there (not enough to create a large forum that is). However I do suppose it will be a good place for server owners to find devs or plugins and a place where people that want to learn how to code can get advice.
If you choose to have to dedicated to minecraft you might need to get a different domain (something with 'mc' in it perhaps)

Of course! It would be related to development whether you have no experience at all or if you're a pro at it. There was something similar to what I want to achive that died due to lack of funds. It was the Infernal Developers forum. Pretty sure Skionz was part of the team.

Isn't it against the rules to talk about other forums. I heard like 2 people got banned for advertising a forum on skype. Anyways, I think its a good idea.

This wouldn't be a competitor, nor is it even live. The whole point of 'advertising' would be to get people from this site to a competitor site. Devforums would have nothing similar to mcmarket's main goal (marketing). Plus, as mentioned before, the site isn't live.[DOUBLEPOST=1440490040,1440489994][/DOUBLEPOST]

Already getting it going. Got a logo and forums. Obviously not setup yet but hey, it's a start :>

Sounds like things like this already exist, such as spigot forums, and bukkit forums, minecraft forge, etc..

I guess this would have to be a website with a mixture of all kinds of development..
Or it could even be a website where people come to learn to develop, like solideralex said, many people want to learn, but cant.
