What's the point of doing this? Probably would lead to more issues/bugs/performance issues.
The only real issue would be debugging issues and adding more features, but I agree with you, having multiple different plugins would be much better.

Having multiple plugins will allow easier management for admins to enable/disable/modify specific features rather than having a single (core) plugin modified. It would also be easier to manage errors/bugs because the core plugin may not be suited to handle errors and continue processes, so the whole server will have to be shut down to fix this individual feature rather than just removing the bugged plugin.
