Idk how many people live in boston. I have been there once, I visited for a week with my family to see a Red Sox game ( we are fans even tho we live in cali ). So most people that will give advice will most likely be tourists.

I know in the UK eggs are left out before eaten. In Boston you are supposed to refrigerate your eggs before cooking and eating them. Additionally television programming is more dramatic/loud in Boston than the UK for the most part. Also here are some words that have different meanings in UK vs Boston:
1. Pants - in Boston it means jeans/leggings or clothing you wear over your legs (underwear is the boston version of UK's pants)
2. Chips - in Boston it means like a fried potato thinly sliced crunchy snack (fries is the boston version of UK's chips)
3. Bog - in Boston in means a dirty lake area (toilet is the boston version of UK's bog).

Lastly, as your probably aware there is a difference in the accent.
