Basically what people are telling you is that you want a free profile picture and your standards are pretty high when you're wanting free artwork. You want it hand-drawn and someone gave it to you but it's not your skin.

If you want a hand-drawn profile picture, your best bet is to go with fawny or carstonia. They may be able to help you for the price of $15+

There's no such thing as a free lunch (that's a proverb ) but what I would suggest is looking for people who do these for free or at a rather cheap price. Scroll through threads, etc.

Basically, the point is that you want free work. Beggars can't be choosers.

You're not going to walk into your local Walmart and be like 'Oh I really like this shirt. I need it. You're giving it to me for free, thanks.' Red made you a quick little drawing out of the kindness of his heart and you're honestly being rude to him. If you didn't want it then you could have said, "Oh, thank you for taking the time to do this, but I was hoping for one that looked like my skin. But this will still suffice until I can get one!' or something along those lines. Just because you're on the internet doesn't mean that all common courtesy flies out the window.
