Alright, this is going to be 100% how I feel about this. It's getting annoying to see random users who have like +7 ratings and no transactions made on MCM spamming threads like, "HUH KID WHERES THE PROOF HUH IM PRETTY SURE YOU'RE A SCAMMER YOU LOW LIFE TRASHY KID LOGIN TO MINEPLEX LOBBY 1 IN 10 SECONDS OR YOU'RE A SCAMMER KID KID KID." The saddest part is, it's not just these random users, I've seen well known and long-time users doing it. MCM has become so paranoid with scammers that it's ridiculous. I saw a thread where a kid offered to go FIRST and he was being called a scammer. Not only does this apply to general transactions, but to the whole cracking thing. Now you all are going to sit and say, "but Kenny Skill is trying to screw the economy up BECAUSE HES A GREEDY PRICK AND HE WANTS OUR MONEY." No, he's not. He's thinking of a way to combat cracking, something that, whether all you 14-year-olds thinks is right or not, is wrong. To be honest, I'd even understand if you could prove that no one has used the acc. for years and they are probably grown and forgot the emails and passwords etc., BUT SOME OF Y'ALL CRACK ANYTHING. Just like some kid on a thread said, he had his cape account cracked and sold on MCM, AN ACTIVE USER. That's all besides the point, I'm going a little off-topic. The whole point is, can we honestly adopt a fair policy for all of this? No one should be allowed to call scams on someone just because they'd prefer to provide private proof or aren't home. It's worse than sales trashing through price, it's damaging a reputation. In the real world, it's called libel and it's illegal, Anthony R can back me up on this. I'd like to see the rule put in place that you libelous speech be something against the rules from now on and everyone, even people in scam reports, are innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Good day, thank you.

So I am a low rep user so if I got 27 ratings you won't deal with me? That makes absolutely no sense, I came to mcmarket to sell my stuff here not to get ratings nor to farm vouches
That's right, I wouldn't deal with you. Lot's of people come to this site to scam, not to sell stuff, so trusting a low rep user is stupid.

EDIT: Looking at your profile and seeing that you have vouches, I'd consider dealing with you. If you had none of that, though, I wouldn't.

Well spoken, Tank provides quality stuff and there's no reason to put some user on a DNDW list because they're new.

Well there is a Quote I Forgot What It Said But It Meant That As Much As you talk to someone they won't understand because their mind is just blocked. You are just the same how do u think I will get my ratings high? Ratings have nothing to do with how trustable is the user, A guy with 1k ratings mostly funny reps is so trustable (notice the sarcasm please) How do you think new members in the community would get trusted and not being called sketchy and scammers if People like you won't deal with them? Just Saying you came to this thread putting in mind low ratings = scammers therefore there is no way to change your mind and it's a waste of time if I tried and I face the trusting problem with every trade for example today I got scammed 20$ for a higher guy with 80 rating

You get trusted by talking to people, buying things, and pretty much just by being active in the community. Then, you can give vouch copies of your services, or just go first when you sell things. That is how you build vouches. As I said in my edit, you have vouches, which makes you more trustworthy than some no-avatar, no-rep noob who is trying to sell something with no proof.

"hmm scam" - Shades 2k15

It's fine, I'll just recommend to people to have the posts tagged as LQ posting and the users will receive warnings and such. It has nothing to do with the safety of the community. You're making yourself sound stupid. If you want proof, PM them on MCM asking for it. I do it all the time. The point of this is the useless spam by people with 2k posts who go on every thread and say "proof." If you're interested in the service/good, PM the user for proof or be the first person to reply to the thread asking if they cared to upload any proof. Else, screw off and leave the thread alone.

Probably, wouldn't doubt some of the low lifes on here. Sorry to hear that :/
Too bad I never said that lol. Do you want to know how to prevent that useless spam? You post the proof on the forum post. There's some people on here that don't really care about spam and will just post what they think is needed. I know what you mean by the "proof" spam, but it doesn't annoy me at all and your really making a big deal. What you should be focusing on is the people who go on threads and just say it's a scam without any evidence to back it up. I didn't say safety of the community, I stated that it was for the safety of the transaction. Meaning you can be sure that you are getting your product and not some mc account named "m0jang". I will not leave this thread alone as seeing you are in the right direction but not focusing on the real problem.

I'm focusing on all the kids LQ posting their way to "ratings" and then commenting on this thread telling me DNDW new people. It clearly annoys plenty of people on MCM. It's petty and makes business on here look unprofessional.

The spam was just a example of the problem since most of the spams are people accusing scams

If you want to deal with low rep users, then go ahead. You have no right to tell other people who to deal with and who not to deal with though.

Don't call them low rep, I suggest calling them new members to mcmarket. Everyone starts as a 'low rep user' we can't just jump to 1000+ rep by shit posting all day

My Point is Don't judge People from their ratings (Simple as that) they might need proof they might need ownership things but saying in public and accusing them of scams is pretty cheap. A easy message would do the job! This thread is for people who think just like you tbh

If they have low rep, they are low-rep users.
There's plenty more people on MCM with low-rep I'd trust more than some of the highest rep users. @allofyouwhotrustedsavageover"lowrepusers"

Okay, why is it, that when someone posts a completely agreeable thread that is very reasonable, nara kavi and monty always, and I mean always, don't agree with it?
They are trying to make an argument for people who disagree so they get more likes. And when asked to leave they don't.

What are you talking about? How is telling people who they should have to deal with reasonable? It is up to the buyer to decide who they trust and who they don't trust. There's nothing reasonable at all about trying to force people to deal with users they don't trust.

We all need to start somewhere, The people that asked for proof we're probably potential buyers, or theh were kind enough to teach the new people here how to make a proper selling thread with proof and everything.
I agree with you on the part that you do not have to be rude and say things like GO ON LOBBY 10 NOW MINEPLEX SCAMMER DNDW without actually talking to the seller.
We all started with 9 rep and we also do not need to make laugh of the kids that spent over than $1k on ranks and think that their account cancerpatient9210 is og.

This Whole Thread talks about Accusing Low rep users to be scammers and saying in a disrespectful way that they need proof and it's a scam if they won't go first but I agree proof is needed by it can be asked as I stated above my message the whole thread isn't telling you who to deal with please Reread it

Please quote where I said you had to deal with anyone xD Cause as far as I see it

the simple fact is that a lot of people who are on here with low post count/rep are scammers. these people just scam, reset their ip, make a new account, and scam again.

I would never buy something from someone with 5 posts, no avatar, and no rep because they could easily scam me and get away with it with no repercussions.

You just sound like you want to make life easy for scammers for some reason, which makes me suspect that you yourself are one...

*** Note actually calls me a scammer, someone with a better community rep and hasn't had 15 threads to ban me.

lol how does it not have anything to do with scammers if you are talking about scammers. i've never gone into a thread and done the shit you're talking about, i'm just defending the people who do because I think new members/people with no rep/posts deserve to be interrogated and treated this way because in all likelihood they actually are scammers. All markets everywhere work this way. You can't just wander into some site and start peddling shit and not expect people to be wary of you and what you're selling.

you should calm down i think and take some deep breaths, we are all friends here and i am just responding to your posts in a friendly and rational manner. i don't know why you have to get so hostile about it.

how about you go deal with a bunch of low-rep/message users and tell us how it goes ^_^

trusting a low rep user is stupid.

more trustworthy than some no-avatar, no-rep noob who is trying to sell something with no proof.

Seems to me you're the one who's trying to convince someone how to deal on MCM, while I'm saying "please stop spamming dumb stuff" as Yuno has commented

If a new member is trying to sell something and posts no proof, it is very likely that they're a scammer. If people call the member out on that, that is their own business, nobody else's. How can you blame someone for accusing a new member of scamming if they don't provide proof of the product they're trying to sell? It's common sense to provide proof of what you're selling if you have no rep or vouches.[DOUBLEPOST=1445979215,1445979144][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm not telling anyone who to deal with and who not to deal with. I'm saying most people would not deal with low-rep users because they are usually untrustworthy. I'm going to stop replying now though and play Club Penguin because this is getting boring.
