Installing Multicraft to a VPS?

Hey, so I'm looking to get an OVH dedicated server soon and one of my friends suggested I bought a cheap little $3 VPS from them first to see how the process of setting it up works.

So I just bought a SSD Linux Ubuntu VPS from OVH and if anyone could help walk me through the setup that'd be great. Thanks (Please don't link to post or videos, I don't learn too good that way, need one on one teaching.)

1. you could just hire someone for $5 to do it all for you. Would be alot easier on your part.
2. Doing it yourself is okay, but if you mess up at some point, you could leave it insecure.
3. Google it and copy paste the commands over, something as simple as installing multicraft isnt alot harder than that. Its how i started a long while back.

I know the risks, but I kinda want to learn and don't have anyone I know who could do it and don't want someone I don't trust with access to an almost $100 server when they could screw everything up.
