Are you fucking on drugs[DOUBLEPOST=1565459446][/DOUBLEPOST]
It is an argument, I don't understand why people think Android = Samsung. A couple years ago my parents bought me a cheap Motorola E4 ($125) that I used for a few months until my dad managed to crack the screen. A few weeks later, my aunt gifted me a Samsung S7 Edge ($350) and I absolutely hated everything about it. I would a million times over buy the Motorola E4 over the Samsung, even though its supposedly a worse phone.
I'm only saying that because everyone likes to make that argument when there's clearly that on the Android side as well, that is hypocritical. That's where the fact that Android has a lot of choices comes in as well, which you've said.[DOUBLEPOST=1565468665][/DOUBLEPOST]
all these minecraft faggots r gonna say iphone, but its literally fact android is better, camera wise, strength, battery, etc. search it up[DOUBLEPOST=1565466311][/DOUBLEPOST]
samsung*
What device in specific are you talking about? Android has such a wide ranges of devices. My old LG K20 was outclassed by my iPhone 7 in every category. Are you referring to specifically flagships?

My personal experience, I had a Samsung S6, fine camera and stuff.
I bought an Iphone X, its really good as It can load up a shit ton of stuff, its better the camera quality, records in 4K which is great, just a bit scared to use it as one drop would cause issuses however an Android phone is the father when it comes to taking the damage and dealing with it (ofcourse after Nokia)

Iphone, overpriced and low battery. Worst of all, I am using it only because of the design.o_O

Apple is rapidly becoming the "Supreme" of electronics; with things like a thousand dollar stand, it's made very clear. I personally am an Android user (although I have owned an iPad and an iPad 3), and although I don't use iOS whatsoever, the iPhones aren't particularly bad other than the cost and the limiting factors such as a lack of a headphone jack. However, Mac is total, complete, and utter garbage.

I am locked into Apples "walled garden" at this point. I just cant give up features like Keychain, iCloud, iMessage and AirDrop.
Their products last a long time and there is no bloatware.
Windows update, it sucks ass. I have had times where my computer has started updating 1min after shutting it down, because I left it plugged in.
I know their products are expensive and I am aware of the issues with repairs and such, but to me it is still worth it.

I'm a former Genius at Apple, and I'll let you know why I believe Apple > Android:

  1. The ecosystem — The main argument against Apple is that it's an ecosystem, and therefore bad. I strongly disagree. Because it's an ecosystem, all your Apple products are tied together through their operating systems. My Apple products consist of an iPhone X, an Apple Watch Series 4, AirPods, Beats Solo3 Wireless, Powerbeats Pro, HomePod, Apple TV, and a MacBook Pro 15" (2017), as well as Apple Music, News+, and even the Apple Card. I've got almost everything I need for my lifestyle wound together through an ecosystem. Android doesn't have this, and even Android labeled accessories, such as Google's WearOS, work and are compatible with my iPhone. Android is messy because it's open to all sorts of companies, each taking their own slice of the cake and decorating it differently by cutting parts and enhancing others.
  2. Privacy & Safety — Apple is the only major tech corporation that doesn't track your data, monitor it, or even look at it. Because of this, I am comfortable browsing Safari, using Apple Card, saving my passwords and using iCloud because their 2FA is the best I've seen. Their Emergency SOS feature is amazing, and fall detection + EKG + decibel meter to protect me makes me feel safe when I'm out and about. Actually, when I was struck by a car and fell off my bike, my watch detected it and activated Emergency SOS to call 911 and alert my emergency contacts I was in danger. More information and stories here. Apple also keeps me more secure from malware and viruses.
  3. Apple Care (Plus) and Customer Support — Apple's customer support is probably the best I've ever had with a major company. Being able to book an appointment, go in that day, and have your problem looked at and resolved is astonishing, and more companies can learn from this. To be fair, I've never seen or gone to a Samsung/Google/OnePlus/etc. storefront, so I don't know if these companies even have physical shops or if they just resell through Data carriers, but Apple is the best afaik. I also enjoy AppleCare+ protecting my devices in the event anything ever happens to them, even extending the warranty to Water Damage. And starting at $6/mo? That's great.

Arguments in this thread and my takes on them -

Iphone, overpriced and low battery.
Your battery is most likely constantly low either because of (a) your phone being an old edition; or (b) there is an error with the battery functionality in your phone, which AppleCare+ covers for $6/mo plus additional features. New phones being too much isn't anything new and every company is doing this, especially Samsung; Apple's biggest Android competitor.

Look, sure $999 is ridiculous for a computer stand, but it's market is towards people who already overpay for items. That's the Apple marketplace. Buying from second-hand stores and online marketplaces for this stuff is common. Stop looking at Apple as a business that markets things based on what their audience wants, it was the world's first trillion-dollar company for Christ's sake. Secondly, not having a headphone jack isn't a big deal. Better speakers is fine for me, because Bluetooth > Wired headphones anyday. Third, the Mac isn't garbage. It might not be what you are looking for, but it's good for what it's meant to be. Apple isn't going to cater a computer specially for you or your needs, it's targeted at an audience, and that audience buys. BootCamp lets me connect to Windows for free and get full access to switch between MacOS and Windows 10 whenever I need to.

Anywho, Apple Gang 4 Lyfe bb 8)

Overpriced is no longer an argument, Samsung just removed the headphone jack with the Note 10 and priced it at $949 base model. That's very similar to the pricing that Apple is going with
Im never upgrading my Note 9

I got an Iphone SE from my friend. He thought a broken 5s was unacceptable in 2019.

Ok, my phone is old and the battery is dying. AppleCare+? That sounds interesting, thanks for letting me know.
