Never had my earpods fall out my ear whilst riding and I have multiple of these things since my parents didn't use theirsThis just isn’t true. Like at all.
I’ve never understood this. It has a wire. Wires snag on things. Wires have air resistance and drag. Wires pull the darn things off your head all the time.
IF they slip off your head on a bike, the wired one will still be attached to your person, but it’ll either pull your phone with it or scrap against the concrete and get damaged. Sure, a wireless pair can get lost or sustain even MORE damage when it falls, but it’s a lot less likely to fall in the first place.
Thanks for the insightful reply!idc really
I don't trust the Chinese lmaoXiaomi gang? Nobody? Just me? Ok...
You said that all the Android phones give you a headphone jack. This is simply not true. Almost all of the Android flagships and a lot of the Android midrange phones don’t have one. That’s a long ways from “all.”ExplainThis just isn’t true. Like at all.As it so happens, all the android phones give you the ability to have the 3.5mm jack unlike iPhone's
That’s good, I haven’t had any fall out either. We’re lucky. I’m just saying that:Never had my earpods fall out my ear whilst riding and I have multiple of these things since my parents didn't use theirs
Yeah that makes sense, but it would probably be more of a pain to have wireless ones since if they fallout it would take a hell of a time to find, I bike 1.5 miles to my school and back for football practice every week and I honestly don't think I could search that for a tiny airpod or galaxy budYou said that all the Android phones give you a headphone jack. a) Wireless ones are even less likely to fall out, and
b) If any headphone falls out (wireless or wired) it’d be done for.
Well for one, they stay in. Also, use Find My appYeah that makes sense, but it would probably be more of a pain to have wireless ones since if they fallout it would take a hell of a time to find, I bike 1.5 miles to my school and back for football practice every week and I honestly don't think I could search that for a tiny airpod or galaxy bud
A lot of Android phones have 3.5mm jacks. I don't know which phones you're looking at that have none. You said that all the Android phones give you a headphone jack. This is simply not true. I do. I've had 2 of Xiaomi's phones before and they are the best Budget phones on the market (imo). I have the Mi Mix 2s and it's only $340 after tax and it outperforms 97% of other phones on the gaming benchmark and has an insane battery life. Only issue is that Xiaomi only has a couple phones that support US AT&T bandsI don't trust the Chinese lmao

Still an excruciating processWell for one, they stay in. Also, use Find My app![]()
There’s a reason I highlighted the word “all” gin my first reply to you. The big tier phones, the Samsung’s and Pixels and OnePluses of the world don’t.A lot of Android phones have 3.5mm jacks. I don't know which phones you're looking at that have none.
The Pixel hasn’t since the Pixel 2.But they do
From the beginning, apple is a high-end brand. So no, it's just that the iPhone is democratized but basic it's a luxury product.Apple is overpriced and they are fighting against people who repair their own devices. You will need to repair your device down the line which will be overpriced and they will attempt to oversell you.
Fair, I mean to be fair I'm arguing over something I have 0 experience about since I still own a Huawei p9 lite. Glad you agree with my original pointsThe Pixel hasn’t since the Pixel 2.
OnePlus hasn’t since the OnePlus 6t.
Samsung hasn’t since the Note 10.
All of Huawei’s current “Pro” models lack it.
That’s a lot of Android flagships that don’t have the jack.
We’re arguing over nothing, by the way. I understood and agree with your original point: there are a lot of Androids that still have the jack. I was just trying to point out that “all” is a strong word to use. It wasn’t a personal attack.
Lmao I’m arguing in favor of wireless headphones here when I myself am probably going to buy a pair of wired lightening headphones. :rofl:Fair, I mean to be fair I'm arguing over something I have 0 experience about since I still own a Huawei p9 lite. Glad you agree with my original points![]()
