I heard a figure that Microsoft sold 50,000 copies of Minecraft a day at retail price.
They probably still do, to this day.

There's another statistic that somewhere over 90-95% of players who have purchased the game (PC), do not play Multiplayer.
Yes, Realms was to make some extra skrilla, but the fact is players who purchase the game to play singleplayer, would be more inclined to purchase an add-on through Mojang and play with friends - than play on a server that offers ex. survival.

The multiplayer audience is vocal, but in the eyes of Microsoft, they only represent a very very small percentage of players.

Yep. Which is why I'm hoping that once the bedrock edition is all in place, they'll loosen up the restrictions put on servers, as long as those servers become microsoft partners.
Imagine being once again able to monetize your server as pre-eula, except perhaps with more restrained pricing (no $150 ranks that just give you an enchanted set of diamond armor on a small factions server). All you'd have to do is give part of the profit to microsoft. That, or they just make the code public property, allowing us to do whatever as long as we do not use the brand of minecraft.

That font doesn't make you look unique, it makes you look like an ass.
It is unfortunate that you hold that belief, I do not use this font with the intention of appearing unique, I use this font because I think it is aesthetically pleasing. As I previously stated, if you or anyone else would like to discuss, in more detail, my font usage. Please PM me.

Meanwhile they are still discussing the font issue.
In my pov, I see Microsoft doing something similar to the Steam store or DLCs already on the Live store.
Within the partnership, servers would have less restrictions and more help, but sell these "dlcs" through Microsoft's xbox store.
Microsoft takes a % and the servers get a huge increase in playerbase rather than having to do complicated steps to get to servers.

Kind of how like Cheatbreaker has its "favorite" servers on the top of the server list - partnered servers would be displayed on the top or something like that - according to the players' geographic location or what not.

I like how Microsoft is trying to bring the community together by making multiple different systems able to play on the same world. Sure the Java version of Minecraft was the original but it's a known fact that people don't like change. If you don't like the new changes made you have to deal with it because it's going to stay. If you go up to some random person and ask them if they have a good computer to run games, chances are they don't because not everyone is a PC gamer. With the ability to connect phones, xboxes, and computers to one game more people can play together than ever before. I have a decent amount of friends that don't have good computers but they have a good phone or console. I think Microsoft has done a great job on this change to allow people to play with their friends without having to purchase a different system just to play together. I wish they made this change back when Minecraft was in its prime so I could've played with more of my friends back in middle school. Just my opinion.

I have received quite a few people complaining about my font that I have selected to use, I apologise for any inconvenience it may be causing you, however, I and many others, enjoy this font.
No one enjoys it

It is unfortunate that you hold that ignorant belief, as this has nothing to do with the thread, can you and other people please stop discussing it pointlessly, thank you.[DOUBLEPOST=1506261453][/DOUBLEPOST]
It's a serif font and that font is usually used and easier to read for papers and magazines and harder to read on computer screens meanwhile sans-serif fonts are easier to read on computer/phone screens so you better change to sans-serif.

I learned this in typography of graphic designs ;)
I will not be changing my font, thank you though.

If anyone doesn't like the font that Kaito uses (like me) just click on his name and ignore him :)
It would be quite immature to ignore someone based on a font, however, I'd rather you do that than complain pointlessly to me!

It would be quite immature to keep using a font that no one likes same as people using cursive in every message. End.
