Is Razer gear good?

Hello,

I was recently thinking of going and getting an entire Razer setup, has anyone had any previous experience(s) with Razer. I mean I've used it before but never looked at it much, mainly Apple products and some other brands. And I was thinking of trying out Razer to find out if it is worth it.

Corsair keyboards aren't overpriced lol. For the strong metal material, they're made of. All the functionality and customization of the LEDs that come with it. 30-50 extra dollars is better than getting a cheap plastic Razer keyboard, and a fair price to me.

They aren't cheap, I've had mine over 3 years, been perfect, done a mint job.

I'm actually very happy with my Razer keyboard which I've had for nearly a year without any issues, however. You wouldn't see me near a Razer headset or mouse. I'd recommend Logitech or Corsair.

Its good quality but overrated as fuck. You're buying the name that's it. You can get similar or better quality for cheaper. I think Razer is a really cool brand but even I'll admit that's its overrated.

I had a razer blackwidow for over 3 years and it still works like it's the first day I got it, but I recently traded it out for the Chroma edition. I still have my Deathadder from 2014 too and it's completely functional with no issues whatsoever. I also have the Razer Krakens I got 3 years ago and I use them almost everyday and they're completely fine. Most Razer products will last a long time if you take good care of them and don't throw them around you know.

Me personally I love Razer, my whole setup is almost from Razer. But, however, I don't suggest getting an actual full setup of Razer products, only a few. Razer is a great brand that produces high quality and long lasting products, but some brands win over Razer in some categories. I can highly suggest the BlackWidow keyboards, the deathadder mice, and the kraken headsets. Other products I would suggest go look at other brands.

I have Razer Naga Epic Chroma (Mouse) and Deathstalker. The Naga has been with me for almost a year, while the Deathstalker been later than a year. I have no problem with both of mouse and keyboard. They are still working properly and how it is supposed to be and I have no plan for changing them in near future. I can recommend the mouse and keyboard from Razer I guess.

However, I personally dislike the headset, microphone, and webcam. I've bought the headset (i forgot what was it) and refunded it. I decided to get myself a better headset for music which somehow works better since I also like to listen to music. I would rather invest more in something with higher quality than something overpriced. I have a friend who has the microphone, and I personally dislike the microphone (like it is way too expensive for its quality). With the same price, I could buy a better microphone setup (which I can use for recording music). The webcam also is not catching my attention, I would suggest looking for another alternative in the market, but again it is up to you since it is your money you are spending.

Terrible, my keyboard is turning to shit; keycaps are coming off.. I spilled numerous of cups of water and it fixes itself over a couple of days.. I bought a mouse, and it stopped working, I got a replacement.. so far going strong with the razer mouse.. definitely not the keyboard...
