Is Razer gear good?

Hello,

I was recently thinking of going and getting an entire Razer setup, has anyone had any previous experience(s) with Razer. I mean I've used it before but never looked at it much, mainly Apple products and some other brands. And I was thinking of trying out Razer to find out if it is worth it.

I have a Razer laptop along with a MacBook Pro. Honestly, I prefer the Razer laptop because it performs well on basically every game and looks just as sleek as MacBook's. The only things I prefer MacBooks for are writing essays and basically doing any work where I can sit on my bed and do it because they are easier and lighter, they also have more battery life as the Razer laptops use a lot of battery life.

Razer gear is the kind of gaming gear that you buy once and you just absolutely know it's going to be solid and last you at least 5+ years. Currently typing this from my Razer Chroma Keyboard I got a few Christmas's ago. No issues whatsoever, very sturdy. Looking to get another deathadder mouse soon. Razer gear is solid. Built to last.

I've heard a lot about Razer products sometimes giving out quickly and other times lasting.
Personally, I have a Razer Naga Chroma that has lasted about a year so far. But from what I hear about their pcs, they are pretty solid.

Mouses: Good
Keyboards: Good
Headsets: Trash
Microphone: Trash
Mouse Mats: Overpriced

I've had mine for about 4 years and I haven't had any issues with it, what are you doing with yours to break it that much?

must be just me then, probably getting too mad when a hanzo main wont switch

Razer is basically the Apple of the gaming world. most of their products are good quality, they look amazing, and are reasonably durable, but you could get the same thing for a lower price with another brand if you don't care too much about looks and are willing to put a bit more effort into finding a deal.

Oh yeah, remember that Razer Keyboards (at least new ones) are not Cherry MX, they are a chinese off-brand variant.

$200 for a keyboard is pretty cheap.
