About an hour ago I ip banned someone from my server, and it said "User has banned the IP xx.xx.xxx.xx" and the user recentely complained to me and said that he would call the cops on me because apparently its illegal.

Is it illegal or do I have nothing to worry about?

It's not illegal to ban a skid from your server when he's breaking your rules and stuff.

I forgot to mention that all players could see his IP when i banned him.

It's your server and your rules, there's nothing illegal about IP banning whatsoever, otherwise every single admin/manager/owner would be getting put into prison. ;p

I've never called emergency services before ;-; In fact I'm not even sure why I put 911 instead of 999 as I'm in the UK. RIP intelligence.
