I am 27 years old and a chain smoker. I have been thinking of quitting smoking completely for a while now but I haven't been able to. I am thinking of trying dry herb vaping instead of smoking. I have already purchase a SkyBlue Vape pen. Can someone please tell me is it worth doing?

I don't think there's any question whether it's as bad as cigarettes, so I'm going to modify it a bit if you don't mind: Is it a good alternative to cigarettes or not

Pro:

There aren't necessarily known significantly harmful chemicals (more on this later, it's not the whole story), in present amounts, at least in the US, when vaping properly. In addition, it's significantly cheaper than cigarettes and the modifiable aspect of it and high level of choice leads it to be something of a hobby, if you're interested in that kind of thing.

Against:

Did you see all those qualifiers I used above when talking about the harmfulness of chemicals in vaping? Well, here we go, and I'm sure I'm not even going to cover everything:

Most people use vaping to get nicotine, which has some minor (or potentially major) harmful effects, in addition to being severely addictive. But, you can get vape juice without nicotine.

In addition, in some less-strict countries known harmful chemicals may be present in the juice. In addition, known potentially harmful chemicals have been used in the past but are banned now (in the US). In addition, and this is the big one, we don't really know how a lot of the chemicals in vape juice can affect us long term, because vaping is very new. The fact that the chemicals aren't known to harm us doesn't mean they don't.

That's that on the harmfulness of the chemicals.

In addition, the highly modifiable nature of vaping, which can be a benefit to some, also means you can fuck things up if you don't know what you're doing and make the whole thing very dangerous.

In addition, if you don't buy from a reputable source then fakes and knockoffs can create serious hazards (although to be fair this is true of a lot of electronic devices... but people tend to look for cheap alternatives in vape devices more than in other areas).

So to sum everything up:

Is it better than cigarettes? Almost definitely.

Is it free of significant negative effects? Probably not.

So as an alternative to cigarettes, it's a useful tool to help transition to not smoking at all, and it's better than staying addicted to cigarettes

but it's generally not as good as quitting altogether.

Vaping has been proven to be more healthy (still not healthy) but more healthy than cigarettes.
You cannot simply "quit" smoking as you may already know, it's an addiction (because of the nicotine). These vape products are useful.
Vapes are supposed to be a healthy ALTERNATIVE to quit smoking CIGARETTES and NOT a way to completely stop smoking yet.
It's a slow step down from an unhealthy cigarette addiction.
Also 95% less harmful than smoking combustible tobacco
So yes, very worth it if you're a smoker already. But not worth at all if you've never smoked before

It’s worth it. I know a lot of people who were chain smoking and moved to vaping then over time completely stopped. If you put in the effort and have the mentality, do it. You’ll succeed.

Okay no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying it would be much better to consult your doctor for advice instead of vaping. Of course chain smoking cigarettes is worse than vaping, but it would be better to not start vaping.
Some people can't simply quit smoking cigarettes. Like I said, it's an addiction. Stopping suddenly will cause a huge nicotine withdrawal which is hard for some people to overcome. Vaping is supposed to help people get their nicotine fix but in a more healthy (still not actually healthy) way.
