Okay... So I've been looking around MC-M and noticed a couple of threads called "I've got $50 what shall I buy" etc.
I'm going to keep this plain and simple. If you are making threads like this, you have a spending issue. Unlike people who don't ask this question who will instantly save it up.
Mate, if you have $50 or $100 save it... Don't spend it. I'm not going to say I'm a god at saving who has no human thoughts. I spend a shit ton... I regret every time I spent a frequent amount. However, if I had saved that money I would be pretty wealthy tbh. Dev salary ain't bad at all.
If the thought of having money irritates you then place it into a one-way savings account.

In conclusion.
If you make a thread asking what to buy. I will hunt you down.

"Dev salary isn't bad at all" definitely not why I have been learning java these past 3 weeks (just kidding I love programming but I also love money lol). If you ever have time and can help a new java dev out hit me up on discord Repayed#6257 and I feel the same way about these threads, I feel like some of them are also just to get attention.

Did you know almost 75% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck?

That meaning, 75% of people would make a 'I have $50 what should I buy'
I also think that it's a narcissism issue. Seeking attention and such.

This is a culture issue, and I appreciate you talking about it.

Bruh, look up salaries of software engineers. It's a very lucrative job. Trust me. :')
The supply of programmers exceeds the demand. There is no denying this anymore, and unless you want to be disappointed, I suggest you accept it before entering this sector.

I always think the same thing... invest that shit or put it into something that is going to give you more money in return.

I’m not 100% on board. If you’ve got something like an index fund that you can completely ignore, sure. Otherwise, most investments require effort to monitor. Effort that isn’t always worth it.

Just save the money. No need to feel pressured to make it grow.

Somewhat disagree with that statement... having money sit (especially in large sums) is not beneficial and in some cases can be harmful in terms of inflation etc. etc. Learning about things such as the stock market etc. etc. can be extremely beneficial in the long run (especially in terms of large sums of money). For example, we got low-risk stocks and stocks that pay dividends which will be in your favor if you can do the research.

Maybe on Minecraft. Most definitely not in the real world. I live in a first world country and the demand is still insane. I'm a CS student. I barely know anyone who doesn't already have a job offer even though they're still a good chunk of work away from even getting their bachelor's degree yet.
Minecraft development is a good way to get into coding though.
