MineAcademy Now Hiring
We are one of the biggest Minecraft education platforms in the world. We help people become self-reliant and transform their ideas into reality by learning computer programming and the Spigot API.
Our plugin division consists of ChatControl, Boss, CoreArena, Confiscate and Winter, together gaining over 500,000 downloads and operating daily since 2013.
We are now looking for a talented and excellent developer to maintain, update and expand our plugins’ selection. When looking at new candidates we look for some particular features such as:
Java Developer (flexible hours, flexible pay)
We are looking for a Java developer to join our small team. In this high impact role, you will be responsible to update and upkeep our existing products and communicate directly with our customers to help them solve their issues.
While we require you to already have Java experience, what we value the most is the ability to learn new things and problem-solve without direct guidance and entertain a level of ownership mindset in the company.
You will have the freedom and flexibility to create new plugins from your own creative ideas, as well as implement and expand our current plugins’ features and improve their existing features.

Earnings Potential
You will get 25% of the total monthly sales volume from existing products, and 70% from the products you invent and release to our customer base.
Due to market volatility, all earnings are only an estimate of what we think your earnings may be. You may earn more, less or the same.
Here is a projection for the Boss plugin. On average it earns about $750 per month, which means your 25% compensation will be $187,5. ChatControl earns about the same. CoreArena, Confiscate and Winter and insignificant.
When you release a new product with high impact on the market such as Boss or ChatControl, following the $750 monthly volume you would earn $525 from a single plugin. With 4 plugins that sell well of your production you could cross the $2000 per month mark.
We believe the maximum one person can handle is 10-15 plugins so there is space for your potential to unleash. While we can't promise you such income of $5000 or more per month as these calculations suggest, we believe with time this is an attainable goal if you are hard-working, disciplined, persistent and plan to stay for over a year. The 70% is the maximum we can give you due to fees, VAT and other taxes we cover.
We do little to no promotion to these plugins and all of our traffic is organic. If you have a marketing talent or dedication to tap into these arenas these numbers are expected to rise greatly. However, this depends on your level of experience and the time you put into it.

PS: We want to hire great people. We look on both level of your expertise but also on your ‘raw talent’, your ability to learn and adapt in a new environment. If you are worried about how to put together a CV or a covering letter - try your best, and we'll get back in touch with some written questions necessary or alternatively we'll provide advice and guidance on how best to format an application.
