What commission does a dev get on a project?

For example:
- If there was a basic FFA server setup, and I coded the FFA plugin and all the other plugins, and all the rest of the company did was the map, what would I get? Assuming the setup cost $100, what would I get in a %, and $ value?

If you were to code the entire server, we would give you 50-60$ on that, we are looking to take a small percentage for the business. As well as paying the builders. Because of that we would not assign many builders (1 or 2) because it will take you some time to do the plugins. We will also have to pay a manager that will watch over your work. Okay, thanks for the reply. Lets say the value of my plugins and service is 90% of the total service the company is providing, would I get 90% of the revenue?

We would have to discuss it but that makes sense. If you are doing the work then you deserve the percentage that you are working for.

What do we do?
Kryptic Server Setups is a new upcoming server setup creator. We are going to be building 4 main server types first, that will be sold online. Using custom plugins as well as plugins that we configure. As well we are looking to get some commissions and have people order custom servers that we will do all the configuration and building for. Everything is based on quality and we wish to offer no less than the best. We currently own a server and it will be on that where we will make the servers. Also we will buy extra servers if we have more than one at a time.

Specific Roles for jobs:
I will list each role and explain what they do.
Builder: You will build everything we need built. You will also be building normal builds along with the builds for the server. All builds will be sold and you will receive a pay for the amount of work you do.

Manager: Managers are pretty important. They are in charge of keeping everyone on track and working hard. They will receive a huge amount of trust and they must be extremely active. They will have to keep track of the amount of work each person is putting into everything and also keep the quality at top notch.

Configurator: As a configurator you will be in charge of configuring the plugins for the servers. Your work will be with others and you will be assigned certain plugins for you to configure.

Developer: Developers are needed in order to make custom plugins that are ordered for servers. You will be in charge of making plugins.

GFX Designers: Graphics are very needed for us to look professional. We are looking for graphics designers that will be able to render our builds. Make cool logos for the company and make small videos that show the features of our servers.

Website Dev: In order for us to be as amazing as we want to be, we are going to have a professional website. Our site will be very important to incorporate everything we have.

- What makes you the best manager: I'm considered an excellent staff and community manager by many people since I've worked as those positions in several semi-large networks such as: BattleRealms, CoveMC, and ZincBox. Managers are always supposed to be the definition of role model not only for the staff but for the players as well. Since they play a very big part in the social/professional development of the server, managers always need to take decisions that will not always please everyone but will help the network go forward immensely. With staff members I can be the most chill guy if everyone is doing their job accordingly and following their rules and guidelines. I can also be extremely strict and demanding if I see someone slacking or using their rank as advantage to other players. Many people are scared by this but without a person like that the system would simply collapse. With players I'm also chill and will treat each person in the network EQUALLY. You can be the highest donator or the newest player and you still will be treated the same. Of course, rule-breakers are an exception. I don't like people who think they can just do anything they desire, especially when others are just trying to have fun. I take rule-breaking (both with players AND staff members) very, very seriously.

I truly believe that I've explained that quite enough back in the other sections but I will continue. I'm a person who really wants to see their community thrive. No, not thrive: blossom into something that everyone will be talking about, and I mean talking about in the good way. I've worked extremely hard to make the communities I've been in clean and suitable for any age. I've succeeded with the help of the staff and the much needed cooperation from the community itself. I can guarantee that if I am to be chosen for this position that will be my main goal. As long as the decisions I make do not affect the network negatively I will continue executing them to make the community as clean as it can possibly be. You said above that the Managers are supposed to keep track on what everyone's doing and making sure they're all working to their full potential. I specialize in both of those things. In every server I've been in I've assigned roles to each and every staff member that has worked with me. This helps me keep track of what they are doing and if they're doing it correctly. In the part where I make sure they're working I'm very talented as well. As I mentioned, I can be the most demanding and strict person that you can work with. This is also something I enjoy. I have related expierence as a manager. When it comes to the administrative work you need to take it serious. Since you’re going in a roll where you will be hiring staff members to work for the server you need to be sure there are caring about the server and going for the position of staff. As well making news post such as events and promoted + demoted staff members. A weekly update post is also always very easy for the player to know what is new and what is going to come in the future.

Effort -
One of the main things of being a staff member is effort in every single aspect you need to put effort in whatever you do especially when people need your help with something. I always put effort in everything I do no matter I like it or not I still put as much effort as possible to be more respected as well because people will know that i'm actually trying to help them out instead of saying go away I can be stuffed or something like that because that's rude and that's just showing your immaturity and lack of effort. I believe thats not nice and it just a bad thing to do because if you show lack of effort.

Teamwork-
Teamwork is also one of the most important things because if there is like 20 people in teamspeak what do you expect when they're all screaming at you so I just ask a staff member to help us out and then the problem is as good as solved. It does not matter if they are a higher rank or a lower rank I will always do teamwork and help out the others as well as they help me and then the problem will be as good as solved.

Responsibility -
Being responsible is a skill that all staff need to achieve. As it is one of the main and important parts of being a staff member. I believe I am very responsible and have some responsibilities in my own life which is one of the strongest abilities as well because I'm always responsible and do my best to be responsible. I am very responsible in every single aspect like Sport, School, Games ( If needed). if you are not responsible you can not become a staff member because being responsible is the one of the main things to be good at. I am very responsible and will always be happy to help out people I will always be online and help out people to.

Professionality:
I have one main goal when starting or during a staff career to uphold. I be professional at all times, I always worry about how other view me as being staff you represent the server. When dealing with players or other staff in a helping manner, it is in my interest that I perform in a professional way, I keep everything serious but not that serious that it bores people. What I mean by professional is that I want players to look at the staff and know that the staff are there to help and know what they are doing, being professional is one of my main qualities. Some would say it is a skill to be professional, I would say I naturally learnt it and the nature of the meaning and fully embraced it.

Mature:
like to think as myself a very mature person who loves to help people, I also find I have great grammar and have a very easy time handling stressful situations that other staff may or may not have a hard time handling. I also hardly ever get discouraged at others, I have an open heart for everyone who is mature and respectful back to me. I treat others with respect and I like to think as myself of a very selfless person. I’m able to contact staff and ask for help when needed and help others when in need too, I’m an overall very respectful person who enjoys talking to people and carrying on conversations, and someone who enjoys interactive with staff and the growing

Active:

Being ative is very important when you’re a manager. In my case I can play more then 8 hours a day. Wich is very nice when you need to do you’re administrative work.

My 'wanting to help others' I was born as a person that feels like he has to help people. I think its important to help people when they need help. Other people look down and say to them idc no this is not what you have to do when someone needs help about a donation inquerie or something else you help that person and you don't let him wait 4 days and then you give him a weird repply. I think its important that when you apply for a server you mainly show that you care about it you don't just apply because you want to be staff and be able to do commands that others can't do no its commands that makes you be able to help others and be able to punnish those who are breaking rules.

- Extras (this can make or break your application, add lots here and tell us why you should work for us.) As I have related expierence as a staff member i'd like to take the challenge and be a staff member on a bigger server with lots of responsibility. I've Always like to take a challenge like this and there for i'm here to come and take it. I was well-knowed in the community when Alohoa and xKush were staff. I was in very good contact with them until I took a big break so I could do some studentjob and get a gaming pc. I accomplished this goal and now I can record footage in 60+ FPs 1080p. I'm able to provide solid proof of someone hacking and breaking the rules. For me when i'm playing a server i'd like that everything is fair and clean. When I started playing minecraft I realised this is a big issue and I wanted to help people out by being a staff and clean this mess. I also treat everybody on the same way we are all different but not perfect. I would never judge a new player other then a well-knowed player. Everybody is equal to me I also want to state that for a 17 year old ive been realizing alot then even behind a computer screen you can still help people out. Even when you're not a staff member. When you had previous expierence you also think that you can handle bigger stuff like being staff on a server with 300+ players i'd like to take part of that and understanding what it is to work hard the main thing i want you guys to consider is how calm I am. I don't get mad, angry, or frustrated at all. The whole reason I am applying is to improve the community. I want to be able to get rid of hackers and clean up the toxic minecraft community which we all know we have. I am a unique individual that will dedicate myself to helping the server. Another thing about me is I am a really active member that can bring 24 hour service to the network. I know I don't have a lot of hours on the server but that shouldn't affect my application. You should accept me based on the application instead of the amount of time I have put in on this server. If I am able to help the community I will want to play more because I love seeing players saying "Thank you" to the staff members. If I get staff I am sure you will see that I am truly dedicated to making VeltPvP a better place for all of us. and wil be able to attempt to optimise productivity with the time that I am staffing the server. This is generally a perk of some people that is overlooked and not appreciated but this can be often necessary due to the amount of rule breakers / cheaters that may be active at the same time. Venix I was community manager here this was my first time as community manager and I really liked it. There for I think I fit for the job as Manager.
