I followed Mc-Markets rules. Nothing less and nothing more. Don't like it? Its all good. I don't really have time for kids bitching about a winner of a IPad. I have more important things to do than respond to a bunch of upset/disappointed kids.
Then why reply? Send a picture of the order confirmation once you order the iPad.

It's a matter of principle, most people don't really care that they didn't win the iPad or likely even want it that bad. The problem is it is very fishy and if the allegations are true scummy that he gave the iPad to a staff member. Even if he was picked legitimately. it does not change the appearance. It appears wrong, even if that wasn't the intent. Not to mention the dismissive and snide remarks from Kylew on the subject.
It seems very likely it was all made up so that they could advertise their server for free without spending any real money. Seriously what staff member is going to take a pic of the iPad they won considering it probably doesn't even exist and it was all a con from the start?... I'm not believing it wasn't rigged until we get a picture of the iPad package which I doubt they'll provide too...

guys, he's not gonna show us proof because he doesn't want to. it's not relevant because he calls us kids.

Doge anyway to enforce this? It's against the rules to fake giveaways.

Correction, he's not gonna show us proof BECAUSE it never existed in the first place...

However, if Zachary was chosen legitimately with proof, I'll retract all insults/arguments I've made against him.

As far as I can recall, Kylew is innocent until proven guilty... legally.
In a civil case, kylew lost this battle a long time ago as a civil case requires preponderance of the evidence (i.e. "this looks believable").

I agree he should have provided some evidence of random selection; as legally, if asked, the manager of a sweepstakes (giveaway) is required to provide evidence of random selection to prove there was no collusion or corruption within the decision (the textbook definition of a sweepstakes (giveaway) requires zero merit / human decision to be involved in the choosing of a winner).

All in all, regardless if it was rigged for his staff member or not, Kylew has been rude and thoroughly dismissive of the claims against him without producing any form of formal statement (without contemptuous language).

I read the first two replies to this thread, all of Kylew's comments, and then replied. Didn't feel like reading 3 pages.

If this thread doesn't get deleted, would be a nice read tho.

No one has provided any proof that it was a fake giveaway. Just because people are sketched out doesn't mean it's true. If anyone provides valid proof that it was fake, I'm sure something can be done but so far, it's just allegations lmao.
But if he provides zero evidence and instead dismisses everyone else without the ability to legitimately back his own claims, the allegations reign over the lack of a defense.

He already said it was legit, if people don't want to believe him, that's on them. He doesn't have to constantly defend himself. He did it once, that's enough for him.

No matter what people say, Kyle doesn't care and there's no valid proof that Kyle rigged it or that the giveaway is fake.
Proof outweighs your word.

The fact that the winner was a staff member and close friend of him suggestions completely otherwise. There is a reason giveaways usually do not allow their workers/staff to participate in the giveaway. It looks hella shady if they win...
