It's taken a while to talk about this seriously. The average time it takes for someone to respond to any scam report is about 7-10 days. That's shit, Mick.

Let me propose two very simple, practical solutions.

1. Pay your staff more than two plastic straws per report done. You've got a lot of money flow going through this place. I'm sure you can supply more than a few cents per report done. From what I understand, your staff are doing reports in batches once the number of reports reaches a high enough number to where its actually worth their time to go and respond to the reports. Only then is it proportional to the money gained, which means you could probably set earlier due dates as well.

2. Let us pay an optional fee for a higher priority. If you don't want to spend more money on actual work being done, let us place an optional bounty on each report. That way, staff are more motivated to do those asap since they would be fighting over it.

It's a system that needs to be fixed since there is a lot of money circulating the place.

agree with first part, but maybe make a higher priority for those scam reports against someone who has been accused of scamming multiple times. Like if someone has like 3 scam reports already open against them, then put that as higher priority so that they can get kicked off the site quicker.

Just a suggestion :p

You've got a lot of money flow going through this place.
Just because there's a high amount of transactions flowing through the marketplace, that doesn't suddenly make a site have a bunch of money to spare, PayPal processed something like $700 billion in 2019, yet made a profit of just $17 billion and they actually handle the payments. MC-Market doesn't even handle the payments.

If you seriously think this site makes a ton of money I'm sorry to tell you that you're delusional, While the site makes some money from ads, upgrades and other revenue streams I'm sure this is quickly eaten up by bills, as I said - if they had a bunch more money I'm sure Mick would have already spent it to improve the site.

I agree to the first part, long response time on scam reports increases the time the scammer can spend scamming others, and exit scamming.

Revenue and net profit are different topics. I'm sorry that Mick's staff payrate is the same as a child in Africa making gucci clothes.

Another suggestion which has been suggested previously is to make it so a defendant can see the plaintiffs report and be able to reply to it right after its reported, will allow them to respond faster and in turn make the system work better.

The delay isn't a money issue, it's due to the number of staff vs user (or staff vs report). Realistically, you don't want to open more than x amount of reports so you can ensure they're kept to an up a certain level of professionalism and handled in a timely manner. The only way to speed up the time of reports getting solved is more staff, which they are working on currently. 7-10 days isn't a terrible time table either, yes it can be annoying but just a year ago we were MONTHS behind. It's improving, be patient and let the staff team get it together at their rate so they're not overwhelmed.

If I remember right staff has said some members are dealing with some personal things. The staff is aware of this issue, I hope they're gonna add some more people to the scam resolvers after this round of applications since some posts have been not replied to for way too long.
