Hello, this post is to explain what experience I have and what I have to offer if you decide to hire me for your server.
First, I've been staff on a discord with over 2.5k members (details below):
For this experience, the server had around 2.5k members. I got my trial moderator position there in 2019, left in August 2020 to deal with an issue I was having in real life, then stayed for another month or so before real life things just took over and I had to resign for good. The typical day was warning users, or muting them, just moderating the chat’s and vcs. I was there for one recruitment session in 2020, where I helped the head administrator choose applicants to become a trial moderator, and also did an interview with one of the people who passed stage 1 of their application for trial moderator.
Next, I have a staff experience of being a staff manager (details below):
In this staffing experience, I was the recruitment manager for Nexolity (obviously lol). Anyways, some of my main tasks were managing the Nexolity recruiters, overseeing the way they were handling applications (eg. what they based accepted/ denied applications off of). Also, I would occasionally sit in on an interview every once and a while in order to make sure the recruiters were doing well with the interview process I had set up. At Nexolity, we also had mentors who would mentor our new helpers for 2 months. I would manage the mentors and make sure they’re helping our new staff members and teaching them everything they needed to know. The helpers had a test at the end of the 2 weeks of their mentorship.
Next, I've owned a server before (details below):
I know that I may not have a lot of proof of this experience, but I gained a lot, it started my java plugin development journey, I also learnt a lot about management skills and learnt more about recruitment as well.
Prison server #1: (details below):
This experience was a fun one, it was a prison server where I got to engage with the community a lot, allowing me to be one of the best staff members I think I could have possibly been during this time. This experience is what really inspired me to become staff on other servers when the server shut down. .
Prison server #2: (details below):
This experience was similar to ByteMC, I continued to engage with the community like I did with ByteMC. All though, AkumaMC provided a much better experience due to the fact that I was able to learn so much about staffing, and just able to interact with the community a lot more, which was really enjoyable! The average player count was 50-200 players on at one time.
Currently, I am looking for any position on a staff team, really. I am just looking to work anywhere and for any position, doesn't have to be paid or anything I'm just looking for experience. I'd be glad if you'd be willing to hire me! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
