hey - i'm new to minecraft server administration, and am planning on making an experimental server loosely based on the game hypnospace outlaw.

i'm looking for a dev to work with me on a few features, the first of which is as follows:

a simplistic forum system within minecraft, where players would be able to post and reply to messages.

these messages and their replies would be manifested in the physical minecraft world somehow, perhaps using signs or by hooking into the holographic displays plugin.

the blocks/text displays which hold these messages must be able to reorder themselves, putting the most recent posts first and bringing recent topics to the front like an actual forum

no attachment features are needed, and i doubt they'd be possible. emoji support would be nice but not required.

if it's janky or poorly performing - good, it's meant to emulate old internet. i don't need perfection here.

this 'feature' would be its own server, which basically only exists to post and reply to threads, but it would be on a bungeecord/waterfall network containing multiple other servers - as such, the ability to post new threads and read your replies from other servers on a bungeecord network would be nice to have, but understandable if it can't be achieved for logistics reasons.


i will pay upfront if you're reputable, or pay in installments as you make progress otherwise. i don't intend to charge for the server or accept donations, so i cannot offer profit-sharing.

please let me know an approximate price and completion time - thank you very much!!!

If you're interested, I could also develop you a /socials plugin.
Players can add their youtube, namemc, reddit, twitter username, etc.
Other players can do /socials <player> or /profile <player> to view their profile

I can make it use something like SQL or Mongodb to store all profiles.
