If someone does not provide any screen-shots or gifs to back up what they say, I recommend taking it with a grain of salt. You never know what the true side of it is just based off of, "devouch, x did this"

You never know if Darvys was talking to OP poorly which resulted in OP not wanting to answer Darvys.
I am not saying that's what Darvys did but there is always two sides to a story

Sounds like you're both at fault. You both seemed to be dismissive toward one another to be honest with you.

edit: If I am being super blunt, it seems you are the cause of it since you ignored what he said. He asked what you can do, you chose to ignore that and asked what he was looking for.

He wanted to keep it as simple as: "Tell me what you can do and please provide your portfolio" so there wasn't a back and forth of messaging each other in case you weren't what he was looking for.

If that's your opinion that's fine, I disagree with your assessment but that's probably not very surprising. I feel I did nothing wrong when I wanted to know what he was looking for before sending my portfolio, because in the end I have to do the job and thus need to know the contents of the job. And also need to know if it actually is something within my expertise / skillset.

I'll leave the thread for what it is to prevent any more unnecessary clutter.
