Hello BBB Community!
Minesteria is an upcoming Minecraft network that is currently in development. Unlike other networks, Minesteria's Backend is custom designed to create, delete, and sync servers on demand. The network is planned to have multiple game modes use this back end to have servers handle any amount of players. As of right now, The backend is about 65% complete and is getting close for us to begin server development.
I have a single developer who has been developing this system in their spare time for the past few months. The system is estimated to be worth around 15k and uses a bit of software for its operations. This developer I've partnered with is unable to create all the features for the servers by himself as It would take over a year to get a fully working product out. So we need help with funds to hire more developers.
I currently do not have the funds to pay developers and I can't afford hosting. Most of the people I'm working with are volunteering their time and resources to work on the back end. but since we're getting really close to production I thought it would be a great idea to look for investors who can help.
I have been a server owner for years and the problem I had every single time was handling large amounts of players. The projects I would outline and create had a lot of features I wanted to implement and weren't possible due to the amount of strain it could cause on the server. So I had to come up with a solution to find a way to spread players across multiple instances and sync data between these servers. At first, I was just going to create a server for each world but that wouldn't be a long-term solution. The second option was to use software called Sub-Servers2 and I thought that would be the solution to my problem as they have an API for creating servers. I've talked to multiple developers to implement Sub-Servers2 on my server, Most of them declined or gave me a high-priced quote. Then I met Blacky, the developer who is currently developing the backend. He explained to me Sub-Servers2 wouldn't work long-term and that If I really wanted a long-term solution for scalability; We would have to create a system that uses software to deploy servers. After I showed him my server outlines, He agreed to create the system for part ownership. Now all I need are developers who can maximize its potential.
Endermite: Main repository where most operations are done.
Endermite Client: The lib to ease Endermite's API usage
Agones Client: for requesting health checks of each server container.
Endermite Protocol: A packet listener wrapper to ease protocol usage.
Endermite Images: For requesting server images/files from our S3/cdn server.
Endermite Messenger: Handles messenger loads and packets
Endermite Balancer: Basically balances the player load across the network and sub-servers
Discord: Spyproof

Why Do We Need Investors?
For us to make use of our backend, We need to have many plugins custom-made to use our API. The API has methods for server creation, server deletion, syncing player data, player balancing, and metrics data. Most of our plugins need to use a database to save player data and need Redis for syncing data to all sub-servers in real-time. This requires developers to know MariaDB, MongoDB, and Redis. The developers also need to learn how to use our API for syncing data and sending packets across the network. Finding developers who are willing to learn how to use our back end are hard to find and expensive.I currently do not have the funds to pay developers and I can't afford hosting. Why Develop This Huge System?
Only a limited amount of networks have a similar system to ours. A great example would be Hypixel, which is a server that uses scalability software to create and delete sub-servers on their network. to fit the demand of their player base. It takes a lot of resources to implement a system like this on any network. I have been a server owner for years and the problem I had every single time was handling large amounts of players. What Is Endermite?
Endermite is the code name for our backend. We call it that because servers, databases, pools, and clusters will be working together to achieve a final product. Endermite is split into multiple repositories

What Software Is Being Used To Make This Happen?
- Docker
- We use docker for the server containers. We found this to be the easiest to use since so you can run so many services with it.
It also makes it so we can secure and isolate containers as well.
- Kubernetes
- K8s helps with automating deployment. It is used for scaling and management of containerized applications.
- Agones
- Agones is a plugin or addon for Kubernetes. It is used to host, run, and scale dedicated game servers on Kubernetes.
- MinIO
- MinIO is a high-performance, S3-compatible object store. It is built for
large-scale AI/ML, data lake, and database workloads. It runs on-prem and
on any cloud (public or private) and from the data center to the edge.
- WeaveNet
- Weave Net is a powerful cloud-native networking toolkit.
It creates a virtual network that connects Docker containers across multiple hosts and enables their automatic discovery. Set up subsystems and sub-projects that provide DNS, IPAM, a distributed virtual firewall, and more.
- UnifiedMetrics
- UnifiedMetrics is used to Monitor Minecraft servers in real time.
It provides high-performance metric collection.
Has low to no performance impact on the server's performance.
