Hello, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Descrate, otherwise known as "Chrono" or "Daniel." I've had a rough year with my Network actually. You see, I had this manager, he helped a ton. Since day one, we started chasing our dream, or more than likely, my dream.. to one day see our great network, "BlockIT" turn into a widely known community for players to come on as an escape or just to simply have fun.
We enjoyed doing what we did. He mainly worked on security and security updates & configs. While I worked on builds, configs, and media. I have come up with so many creative ideas that are not able to be worked on due to mainly a few reasons.
This manager who worked on our network, eventually became one of my best buddies. We had chill chats some nights while working on the server for about half a year I may say. We decided we were really taking this somewhere, and I offered to buy us a dedicated machine, 128gbs of ram, Ryzen 9 CPU, & an unnecessary powerful GPU I could probably sell and replace. Anyways, it's setup. After that we continued working on it and one day, a staff member on the server, came to me wondering where the manager has been. Let me explain something, he was ignoring my messages, seemed pretty fed up with me. The worst thing is, I still to this very day don't know what I did wrong. He blocked me and my good friend Sophia who cried over the friendship for 2-3 days, without a reason, and blamed it all on the staff member. The staff member, he hopped into a game he was playing in GTA, and asked in the VC if he can reply to our messages (this was 8 hours after being ignored.) To my suprise most of the server files were gone. He explained that he hopes BlockIT goes somewhere, and left. Silently, he still hasn't said anything to Sophia, the friend who cried over it, and I'm not even sure what happened in his DMs with the staff member. However I have an idea, and it's the fact the Manager had the literal power to kick him off, but "resigned" or quit the server instead.
Just want to make something clear.. I am not, again I'm not looking for someone to replace this "Manager." However, I want someone who is experienced with configs or security plugins that can share the same goals with me. Could be a partnership between another server, could be someone willing to become staff on ym server. Overall this is just a recruitment for staff, in an odd way.
