Some of you may know me as the former owner of FACTIONS.US which was a small to mid sized Factions server that did quite well for a short while before handing the project off to a new owner.
Lately I've missed the feeling of being a part of a project, however I don't have the time and commitment to run or operate a server anymore. I'm looking to simply be a moderator and to join a small and active community.
I'm not looking to be a developer or work with plugins, building, configs, etc. I'm just looking to basically moderate things like player interactions, bad words in chat, player exploits (cheating), assisting new players with questions, etc. Just looking for a simple mod position.
I've worked with various past servers, many of which are not around anymore.
My simple application to anyone interested:
Name: Kryth
Minecraft username: Kryth
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Timezone: Mountain Standard Time (Arizona)
Ability to record on-screen video: yes
Language: English
Previous experience: Former owner of Factions.us and various staff positions on various other Minecraft projects on MC-M and elsewhere.
Time to contribute to role: About 10 hours a week, part-time.
Skills: HTML/CSS/JS/PHP, Wordpress, basic web development, DNS, web related configs. Experience running/operating small sites for local businesses, blogs, etc. Two certifications in business and computer applications.
Only looking to join moderately successful servers, must have at least a few players on at all times. I'm hoping to join a community and make myself useful
Preferred server types: Factions, Survival, Prison, Minigames
