Hey there, I'm a consistent resource creator on BuiltByBit so I thought I'd make a suggestion about something that's been irking me lately when trying to launch some of my products.
So here's the situation: for some of our products, we like to have "Launch Sales" for the first seven to fourteen days of a products lifespan (it varies), however, with BuiltByBit's current sales system, it holds off sales for a 28 day delay after each manual price change to avoid abuse. However, since resource creation is counted as a price change within the current system, we cannot make a launch sale because of the anti-abuse measure.
My suggestion is that initial resource creation should not constitute a price change flag, and we should be allowed to create launch sales.
In my opinion this does not leave resources open to abuse, it's just a convenience for people who want to build some initial traction upon launching a resource, some momentum to get the ball rolling on sales so we don't have to wait extra time to get some notoriety within the community.
