Hello.

I think there should be a rule for appraisals that you must say what you want an appraisal on in the title of the thread.

Examples of some thread titles that don't follow this include:
REALLY OG SOUNDCLOUD!?
Account Appraisal
Account appraisal
Some Accounts.
OG Account

It's just really annoying to have to click on a thread to see what people have to say rather than it being in the title.

Nobody is forcing you to spend 2 seconds to click on the thread. If you don't like that a thread title is not specific enough you don't have to click on it. It's as simple as that.

I think this should be implemented.

Users who violate these rules, however, should not be punished too severely as it isn't that bad of an offence.

If you went to a car dealership to purchase a car, but all of them were covered up and they didn't tell you what was what, would you not feel upset knowing you're about to waste hours of your time searching for the right car?

That is a terrible analogy. In that case the dealership would show you each car and tell you about it when you ask and if you don't want to ask you can go to another dealership. There are plenty of them.
It would be nice to see what they want appraised...
If you want to know what they want appraised you can click on the thread.

This is sort of like what I suggested for the plugins section, users say "i need an hcf plugin" or something and don't describe it, or the title has a terrible description of what they want and all the post says is "title ^^^^^^^^^^^^^", all these LQ posts gotta go!

Ok, Lets say you buy a album because you really like the music, The music isn't labeled the real names, Just (Song 1, Song 2, Song 3) You have to guess what song is what.

Its a horrible idea not to implement, It wouldn't be that hard
In this situation all you would have to do is click on "Song 1" and you would know exactly what it was.

And when you're looking for a certain song, you click "Song 1" then "Song 2" and a hour later you're on "Song 500", yet to find what you're looking for because it's not labeled correctly. There is no valid reason a person shouldn't put what they want appraised in the title, it's pure laziness.

You would only know what Song 1 and Song 2 (etc.) were if you actually took two seconds to listen to the song. Similarily, you would only know what the thread was about if you clicked on it. Therefore, your "solution" completely contradicts your first statement of how you shouldn't click on the thread in the first place lol

They shouldn't be forced. It's not that hard to click on it, and most of the times you know it would be decent value because otherwise everyone would just ignore it.

You don't know who ignores it an who doesn't.. that made no sense? If you're talking based on views, people don't know whether or not to ignore it because they have to click on it first. Like I said above, and yet to receive an answer for, no user has a valid reason NOT to put what they want appraised. It's just pure laziness and they should do it.

I'd love to get more input into this. After looking over it for a little while I'm not sure if I agree with what I said earlier.

then delete that prefix and make it like
"SC"
"MC"
"TWIT"
"PSN"
"XBOX"
"STEAM"
That wasnt the point of the thread though, it was to make people specify what exactly they want appraised and the name of it if it's an account.

they do that in the thread?
Yes but it's a pain to have to click on a thread to even check what they want to be appraised in the first place.

Read the full post before questioning things I've already said Mr Hardscoper please.
