Make rocket0191 Scam Resolver

Now M6Gaming before you get your panties in a twist and start saying, "THERE AIN'T GONNA BE NO MORE SCAM RESOLVERS! IT IS ME AND ME ONLY!" Here me out. For those of you who are unaware tjrgg was a Scam Resolver for a very brief period of time and why he lost this rank I don't know. I have spoken with him on multiple occasions and he is the most robotic, unbiased staff member/person I have ever met (In a good way). The way he dealt with scam reports was so professional, extremely informative and very useful.

Example: This is a scam report I filed a while ago and lost that was handeled by rocket. Although, I lost he gave a very clear justification as to why I lost and it helped me to understand my mistake so I wouldn't repeat it in the future http://www.mc-market.org/threads/46862/#post-585912 . He is very well written and articulates his points well.

If this gets rejected I do not want M6Gaming to start answering reports like this because that would be so weird because I know that's not his personality.

tjrgg imo is the definition of a perfect Scam Resolver (dw M6Gaming ur still gud too )

Exactly my point. If you go back far enough in the archives you'll find more Scam Reports solved by him that have the same style response.

However, surprisingly scam reports have gone down a bit, not as much as before. Rocket would be perfect for this position, out of the list of staff. M6Gaming is great at his position, but I think two scam resolvers for such a large community would be smart in this case. Although most suggestions like this don't go through as of what I've seen, unfortunately. (Trying to get proven wrong)

First of all, it seems to me that since M6Gaming has been doing scam reports for longer than Rocket, it would only make sense to give Scam Resolver to M6.
Also, Rocket chose to be a mod instead of a Scam Resolver, so you are kind of forcing him to do something he doesnt want to do.

Personally both are great scam resolvers, (I have lost 1 scam report to both) but looking back, since I was a new member at the time of Rocket, it seemed to me he was a bit more biased. It wasnt a big deal though, I still accepted his desision. So what I believe is, let the staff do what they want to do, dont force them to do what they dont want to. M6 is an amazing scam resolver, while Rocket is an amazing Mod.

Being a scam resolver isn't a promotion, it's a demotion. He started as a scam resolver and then was promoted to moderator, then to admin, then back down to moderator. Going back to being a scam resolver would be a step backwards for him. Being a moderator is a far more simple and easy job.

If rocket wants to be a scam resolver I'm sure that door is open to him. I don't think this thread has a reason to exist.

I consider them 2 seperate things. Rocket was scam resolver & moderator.

You can be each one individually or be both of them together.

Becoming a scam resolver is definitely not a step backwards. They are 2 different things. As well as M6Gaming was a scam resolver and a moderator at one point until he got demoted because of some incidents that Ajdin mentioned in another thread.

I believe that tjrgg shouod be able to use but if he did become scam resolver, many users would be happy about that. After all, this sub-forum is here for users to suggest what will make the site a better place.

Well, from my perspective it's a demotion as a scam resolver has far less powers than a moderator afaik. If he retains his moderator status it's not really a demotion though, yeah.

I just think that having to do more work is a demotion. I don't know who would willingly choose to have to do all that work when they could just be a moderator, especially someone who has a job and real life responsibilities like Rocket does.

Has anyone asked what Rocket wants? The community is literally debating what a person wants to do. He'd make a great scam resolver but he's also a great moderator. If he chose to take up this task separately we'd be losing a great moderator.
